In the light of the above, I wish to use this public space to give thanks to GOD for the salvation of my soul,forgiveness of my sins,healings and deliverance;divine providence,preservation of my soul through journeys on the land and in the air,success and breakthroughs in my endeavors,joy and peace over His children in my custody.
Specifically, I thank HIM for allaying my concerns on chronic illnesses and healing me from a terrible health condition that developed suddenly last night ( for the miracle HE performed overnight and the victory HE gave me in my dream) and my being completely healthy and strong this morning.

THE SPIRITUAL TRANSCENDS (IS OVER AND ABOVE) THE PHYSICAL
I have had cause to remember how the LORD brought an end to womb barrenness in my life.
Following an episode of miscarriage (after years of not missing my period years after marriage),I went for ultrasound scan in 2 different centres of repute.The first one made a diagnosis requiring laparoscopy and laparotomy
(Laparoscopy is a surgical procedure in which a thin, lighted tube with a camera (laparoscope) is inserted through a small incision in the abdomen. It allows surgeons to view and perform operations inside the abdominal cavity without making large incisions.),(Laparotomy is a surgical procedure that involves making a larger incision in the abdominal wall to gain access to the abdominal cavity. Unlike laparoscopy, which uses small incisions and a camera for visualization, laparotomy provides direct access to the organs and tissues inside the abdomen).
The Ultrasonologist felt and conveyed his concerns at what he was seeing,in view of the fact that I had no children yet and I was his colleague..
I went to the second place for a second opinion- the doctor made a diagnosis of multiple fibroids.

I later decided to disregard the two reports and put my faith in GOD.He came through for me and I am now a happy mother of 3 beautiful children.
Matthew 7:7 says 'Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you,Jesus also says:

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

There is nothing difficult or hard for the LORD to do.
However, the greatest need of our lives is to be eternally saved,for this earth is not the end of our existence - there is life after this life (Bo se wu ka pe laye to,a a pe lorun ju bee lo - NO MATTER HOW LONG WE SPEND ON THE EARTH,WE WILL SPEND MUCH LONGER IN THE BEYOND).Where we spend the afterlife depends on whether we accept the gift of salvation of GOD through Jesus Christ.

According to Matthew 1:21

the meaning of his name is Savior.
He came to the world for the purpose of saving us all from the bo***ge of the devil and to grant us eternal salvation.

THE CITY WITH STREETS OF GOLD

In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. John 14:2

Revelation 21:1 -27

1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

There are great and beautiful cities in the world. There are cities where the streets are all clean, there are well kept parks, the taxis are luxurious cars and so on. However, as beautiful, organized and perfect as these cities may appear, there is one that makes them all look greatly underdeveloped in comparison.

In this city, the streets are paved with the purest kind of gold you can imagine (Revelation 21:21). The gold trinkets and accessories that people wear and show off in this world are all of low quality compared to the one we will be walking on in that city. Clearly, this city is one where there will be absolutely no poverty. In this city, all struggles will be over. The government of this city is so efficient that they ensure that nobody lacks anything; in fact, the poorest fellow will be living in a mansion. Our memory verse today makes this abundantly clear. That great city is one of great wealth and privilege, where one would not want for any good thing.

Not only does the government cater to the material needs of every citizen of this city, it also provides for their emotional needs.

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
Revelation 21:4

This is one city l will give anything to relocate to. How can one become a citizen? Revelation 21:27 tells us:

And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.

To ensure that your name is written in the Lamb's book of life, you must surrender all to Jesus and accept Him as your Lord and Saviour, then commit to living holy for the rest of your life.

PRAYER
Heavenly Father, I thank You for your grace and mercy.
I believe that Jesus Christ is the son of GOD and that He died on the cross for my sins.
I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord
I acknowledge that I am a sinner.Forgive me my sins and let the blood of Jesus Christ wash my sins away.
Write my name in the Book of Life.Give me Your Holy Spirit.

*DOCTOR'S NOTES:*(The Adventures of Dr Nostress)

Patient A
The patient is a 54-year-old female, a known hypertensive, with a Family History of Hypertension. She had been placed on Antihypertensive drugs in another hospital, but our hospital was closer to her shop.

She presented with complaints of Inability to sleep and Headaches of 2 days' duration. Her BMI was found to be 33.1, and her blood pressure was 185/116. She had no palpitations and no signs of any form of distress.

I couldn't restrain myself from exclaiming when I saw the Blood Pressure: "Ma, this Blood Pressure is too high, oh!"

"What is the Blood Pressure, Doctor?" She asked.

"It's 185/115," I told her.

"Haa, Mo ti ku, oh. (I am dead). Instead of 120/80!" She shouted and started crying. "Ase ghost mi lon rin kaakiri (So it's my Ghost that is walking about)." She started pinching herself. "Doctor, where are we? Is this heaven?"

I was dumbfounded for a while, then I realized that she was an enlightened person who probably knew the implications of such high blood pressure. I held her hand and reassured her that we were still on the earth and she was in the hospital.

I asked her if she hadn't been taking her drugs regularly. She confessed that she hadn't been taking them. When asked why, she had no reasons - she just got tired of taking drugs every day. She was living alone, divorced from her husband, with children away in universities. She resumed her wailing, "Eh eh eh, I'm not dead yet, but is death not already knocking on my door with this terribly high blood pressure? Doctor, am I going to die?"

"It depends," I started saying.

She got up and started crying even louder. "On what, Doctor? Hope it is not too much money, oh. I am not so rich, oh."

"Calm down, Madam. You are on the National Health Insurance Scheme. You will only pay 10% of whatever is the cost of the drugs we give you. And the drugs are not at all expensive." (The money was going to be less than #1000). She calmed down. "I'm sorry, Doctor. What does it depend on?"

"It depends on you, Ma. We will give you a wonder drug that will bring your blood pressure down to a less deadly level and then give you the normal drugs that you have been using. We will also place you on Diet and Exercise to bring down your BMI. Your BMI is 33, which means you have obesity. You have to reduce your weight in order for your BMI to come down to the normal level. So if you can change your attitude, start taking your drugs religiously, and follow the Dietitian's Advisory on your Diet and Exercise, you will not die but live long enough to become a grandmother, even a great-grandmother."

She heaved a sigh of relief, took some Kleenex tissues from my table to wipe her eyes, and said in a solemn voice, "I promise."

She was given the 'wonder' drug, her Blood Pressure came to 145/90 an hour after taking the drug, and she was given other drugs as well as the Dietitian's Advisory on Diet and Exercise.
