YEYE SHOBOWALE, AYOBO-IPAJA COUNCIL CHAIR, COMMEMORATES YEAR 2023 TREE PLANTING EXERCISE WITH THE "THEME: LET'S GREEN OUR CITY"

"Let's Green Our City" was the Theme of Year 2023 Tree Planting Exercise, an annual event of Lagos State Parks and Gardens, an agency of the Lagos State Government, usually observed throughout the state.

This Year, as usual, the Executive Chairman, Ayobo-Ipaja Local Council Development Area, Alimosho, Hon. (Chief/Mrs.) Bola Shobowale (Yeye), led the Council Executive, Legislative and Management Team at the Commemoration of the exercise, held inside the Premises of Community Nursery & Primary School, Ishefun Ayobo, Alimosho, Lagos.

In her speech, welcoming everyone to the year's event, Yeye Shobowale reiterated the need, by everyone, to always grow and re-grow trees, at a rate more noteworthy than the rate at which those trees had always been destroyed, stating very clearly, several benefits of having trees planted by the streets, in the parks and gardens, as adding to the scenic beauty of the spot.

Yeye Shobowale further reeled out other benefits of planting trees aside beautification of environment as, enhancing lives through provision and spreading of oxygen into the air for human to inhale, absorb carbon dioxide thus making our environment safe, bear fruits for human consumption and that in several cases, gives cool shade under them against the scorching rays of the sun (at this point, bringing back the memory of the yoruba song, "Abe Igi Oronbo"). She thus enjoined everyone to plant trees in their surroundings and not just plant, but also be particular about the after care of the planted trees.

In the same vein, in her own speech, the Representative of the State Government and Council Manager, Mrs. Mojisola Ogabi, encourages everyone to plant trees, stating that without trees, there won't be future as tree planting gives a lot of advantages, having the capacity to provide shelter, conserve water, improve mental health, provide sustainable woods, serve as wind, encourage bio-diversity and most importantly, protect land.

Dignitaries present at the event were thrilled by the students of the School, Community Nursery & Primary School, Ishefun Ayobo, to wonderful performances appreciating the education intervention programs of the Council Chairman, Yeye Shobowale and illustrating the importance of Tree Planting, rounding off their performances with the popular yoruba song, "Abe Igi Oronbo, Ibe La Gbe N Sere Wa, Inu Wa Dun, Ara Wa Ya, Abe Igi Oronbo".

Dignitaries who joined the Executive Chairman, Executive, Legislative and Management Team to grace the event were the Executives of Community Development Committee, CDC, the Royal Fathers, the Iyalojas, Artisan Chairman, NULGE Chairman and some Community Residents.

PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP TOWARDS EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT: AYOBO-IPAJA COUNCIL CHAIR, YEYE SHOBOWALE GRACED THE OFFICIAL OPENING AND HANDING OVER OF A TWO-ROOM CLASSROOM AND A SOLAR ENERGY POWERED LIBRARY AT ANGLICAN PRIMARY SCHOOL, JAGUNDEYI, OLORUNNISOLA, AYOBO

It was a fun-filled event as the Executive Chairman, Ayobo-Ipaja Local Council Development Area, Alimosho, Hon. (Chief/Mrs.) Bola Shobowale (Yeye) commissioned and officially opened for use, a Block of Two-Room Classrooms and a Solar Energy Powered Library, a project sponsored by Azeez Amida Foundation, a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), for use of the pupils of Anglican Primary School, Jagundeyi, Olorunnisola, Ayobo, Lagos.

The Council Chairman, Yeye Shobowale, in her brief speech, while stating that the NGO is on the same page with her Administration showed her sincere appreciation to the NGO and equally commended the Executive Chairman of Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board, LASUBEB, and the Education Secretary of Alimosho Local Government Education Area, LGEA, for their supports and approval of the project.

Handing over the project to the School Manager, Yeye Shobowale implored her and the School Teachers as well as the Host Community Leaders to jealously protect the project from misuse and preserve it to motivate the initiator to embark on more projects further while also enjoining other well meaning personalities and fellow NGOs to emulate the positive kind gestures of the initiator.

Present at the event to grace the occasion are the Council Executive and Management Team; Representative of Executive Chairman, LASUBEB; Representative of Alimosho LGEA Education Secretary; Royal Fathers, Representatives of Parents Forum Alimosho Zone; Representatives of School Based Management Committee, SBMC, as well as, well wishers from the host Community.

LAGOS STATE GOVERNMENT PROCLAMATION/INAUGURATION OF 10TH HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY: YEYE SHOBOWALE, AYOBO-IPAJA COUNCIL CHAIR, JOINED THE COMMEMORATION TO FELICITATE WITH MEMBERS REPRESENTING ALIMOSHO CONSTITUENCY

The Executive Chairman, Ayobo-Ipaja Local Council Development Area, Alimosho, Hon. (Chief/Mrs.) Bola Shobowale, (Yeye), joined other Government Functionaries and Well-Wishers for the Commemoration of the Proclamation/Inauguration of the 10th Lagos State House of Assembly, at the Lagos State House of Assembly Complex, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos.

Yeye Shobowale congratulates the duo of Hon. Luqman Orelope and Hon. Kehinde Joseph representing Alimosho Constituencies I and II respectively, on their successful inauguration as Members of the 10th House of Assembly, Lagos State.

In his speech, proclaiming the 10th Lagos State House of Assembly, the Executive Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, described the Legislature as an indispensable pillar of our democracy as it plays an essential role in the journey already embarked upon by his administration, stating, while quoting very clearly, the words of John Quincy Adams, "if your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader", that he believes in the leadership that will emerge for the 10th House of Assembly and confident that collective efforts of both Arms of Government will usher in an era of unprecedented growth and development for Lagos State.

The Proclamation/Inauguration witnessed a selection process for the election of the Speaker and other Principal Officers of the 10th House of Assembly, whereat, Rt. Hon. (Dr.) Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa, Agege I, emerged, for the 3rd Term, in a row, the Speaker of the 10th Lagos State House of Assembly.

Other Principal Officers elected are: Deputy Speaker- Hon. Mojisola Lasbat Meranda, Apapa I; Majority Leader- Hon. Noheem Babatunde Adams, Eti Osa I; Chief Whip- Hon. Fatai A. MY BIRTH DAY 2023: AWESOME ARE YOU ALL, MY PEOPLE

As-Salaam Alaekum Sir! Good Morning Sir! Happy Birthday Daddy!

Those are the Early Morning Words that woke Me up yesterday, My Birth Day, coming from My Kids (I call Them, My Alubarikas), accompanied by their Mother, All seated round Me on My bed, simply to wish Me well and pray for Me on the Day's occasion, which they, of course, knew I don't celebrate (flamboyantly), but observe annually, with High Level Deep Reflections on My Entire Life (happenings in the Past & Present with a view to the Future).

And this Year 2023 was never an exemption, as I woke up and started the day with Deep Reflections and then saying Alhamdulillah Rabil Al'Ameen (Thanking My Creator, Almighty Allah, S.W.T.) with an Islamic song, Mo Dupe, by Yusuf Olamide Olootu", an Islamic Gospel Singer.

A Day that actually began with messages (first ever coming from My Wife, then My Mother, then a Close Friend and then My Extended Family Members) followed by calls & other messages, all of which are best wishes & prayers, coming from You All, My People, across All Works of My Entire Life (Professional Career Colleagues & Clients in Accounting & Taxation Management & Consultancy World; Political Career Leaders & Colleagues in the Socio-Political World and even the Religious World), through which, You All, Truly & Sincerely made My Day, thus pushing Me to further had Deep Reflections, in My usual way, about Life & Humanity with respect to the Humanhood.

My special appreciations to My Wife, Kids, Mother & Family; My Political Leader, Mother & Principal, Hon. (Chief/Mrs.) Bola Shobowale (Yeye), to whom I Am & Will Forever Be Politically Loyal; My Papa & Principal Manager in Professional Accounting & Taxation, Elder William Adamson Afemikhe (FCA); My Other Colleagues/Leaders in My Political Office, My Daddies/Egbons in the CDC/CWC/CDAs and the entirety of My Friends home & abroad.

The Wife, Haajiyah Halimatu Sa'diyyah, died after a brief illness

The Executive Chairman, Ayobo-Ipaja Local Council Development Area, Alimosho, Hon. (Chief/Mrs.) Bola Shobowale (JP), on a condolence visit to his Palace, commiserate with the Sarkin Hausawa (Overall) of Alimosho Kingdom, Alhaji Ahmad Haruna Kuraja, on the demise of his beloved wife, Haajiyah Halimatu Sa'diyyah, who passed on to eternity after a brief illness.

Yeye Shobowale prayed for the Sarkin Hausawa (Overall), the Children of the deceased and the entire family as well as the repose of the departed soul, saying, "May Almighty Allah (S.W.T.) in His Infinite Mercy grants the entire household the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss and also grant the deceased, Al-Jannah Firdaus in the hereafter" Aamin!!!

The Council Chairman, Yeye Shobowale was well received by the Sarkin Hausawa (Overall) himself and his Council Members joined by the Leadership of New London (Oke Oko) Community Development Association, CDA, led by the CDA Chairman, Alhaji Gbenga Lawal, who were also on a condolence visit to the Palace of Sarkin Hausawa (Overall).

2023 JAMB/Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (JAMB/UTME/ Program: Ayobo-Ipaja Council Chair, Yeye Shobowale Held Another Special Session with the Successfully Registered Beneficiaries (and their Parents), for the Presentation of Their JAMB E-PIN Forms

It was a fun-filled event as the Executive Chairman, Ayobo-Ipaja Local Council Development Area, Alimosho, Hon. (Chief/Mrs.) Bola Shobowale (Yeye), the First Abiyamo of the Council, held yet, another special session, with all the successfully registered beneficiaries (and their Parents), for the presentation of their JAMB/UTME E-PIN Forms, in rounding up the 2023 JAMB/Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations, (JAMB/UTME) Program sponsored by her Administration.

The Executive Chairman, Yeye Shobowale in her welcome address, filled with lots of fun, seeing, being an Abiyamo, cross-section of the beneficiaries in their young ages, firstly thanked God Almighty for the lives of the beneficiaries and also for the fact that the examinations had been shifted for reasons she believed is going to translate to better things and success for the beneficiaries, while directing the beneficiaries to turn to, and congratulate themselves, for being successful beneficiaries and having gone through thorough tutorials, enjoined them to be confident preparing for, and writing, the examinations proper in order to come out in flying colours with great results.

Secondly, she equally showed her joyous mood by announcing to the beneficiaries, that their attendance at the presentation also gave them the opportunity to join her as an Award of African Quality Service Delivery Excellence for being the Most Outstanding Chairman in Grassroots Transformation from a prestigious organization, Noble Landmark Africa Media was being presented to her in the presence of the beneficiaries who are also on their journey of being great in the nearest future. She thus dedicated the award to the entirety of the 150 Beneficiaries praying that they all attain in their lives, milestone beyond their expectations.

The Council Manager, Mrs. Mojisola F. Ogabi, in a brief lecture to the beneficiaries, admonished them of the need for them to be more prepared for the examinations and get focus, just as the Executive Chairman had earlier advised, so they can all come out with good results, highly expected of them to secure their admissions for their courses of higher learning. She equally, being an Abiyamo too, prayed for the success of them all.

Mr. Lanre, the representative of the Noble Landmark Africa Media, who did the Award Presentation to the Executive Chairman, Yeye Shobowale, stated that the Chairman had performed remarkably well in the provision of social amenities, in line with the T.H.E.M.E.S. Agenda of the Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu led Lagos State Government Administration, for the benefits of the good people of Ayobo-Ipaja Constituency and as such deserved the award as the Most Outstanding Chairman in Grassroots Transformation.

Two of the beneficiaries, on behalf of all beneficiaries, in their responses, appreciated and prayed for the success, at all times, of the Executive Chairman and her Executive Team, as well as the Council Management Team for the opportunity availed them to benefit from this laudable program.

Delivering the vote of thanks, Mr. Akeem Adekoya, HOD Education, thanked the Executive Chairman, Yeye Shobowale for this laudable project stating that initially, due to pausity of fund, the proposal was for just 100 Beneficiaries, but the Executive Chairman directed that it be increased to 150 Beneficiaries. He equally thanked the Council Manager and everyone who had partaken, one way or the other, right from the beginning of the program to this day while also wishing the beneficiaries, success at the examinations.

It is our prayer that the beneficiaries come out in flying colour in their examinations and also secure admissions in their choice of courses of study at their various choices of schools of higher learning, Aamen!

Ayobo-Ipaja Council Chair, Yeye Shobowale Played Host as the Unified Local Government Muslim (Staff) Association Lagos State, Ayobo-Ipaja Chapter Held Her Annual Ramadan Lecture for Hijrah Year 1444 A.H.

The Unified Local Government Muslim (Staff) Association Lagos State, Ayobo-Ipaja Chapter, held her Annual Ramadan Lecture for Hijrah Year 1444 A.H., hosted by the Executive Chairman of Ayobo-Ipaja Local Council Development Area, Alimosho, Hon. (Chief/Mrs.) Bola Shobowale (Yeye), the First Abiyamo of the Council, inside the Premise of the Local Council Secretariat, Igbogila, Ipaja, Lagos.

In the opening remark, Alhaji Toqeeb Aro-Lambo, Amir of the Association, while welcoming everyone to the lecture thanked Allah (S.W.T.) for making the program saw light of the day being the first time the lecture will be held in the open space as it had always been held inside the Local Council Mosque.

The Council Chair, Yeye Shobowale, delivering her goodwill message, welcomed everyone and thanked Allah (S.W.T.) that the lecture saw the light of the day during a special and gracious moment of fasting by both the Muslims and Christians going on at the same period. She thanked the Association for counting her worthy of being seated and to even deliver a goodwill message despite being a Christian, thus prayed for everyone in attendance and the Guest Lecturer of the day.

The Annual Ramadan Lecture of the Association themed; "Which of the Favour of Your Lord Will You Den" had it's lecture titled "Allah Has Not Forsaken You" delivered to the Muslim Ummah patiently seated with much concentration, by the Guest Lecturer, As-Sheik-L-Islam, Sheik Ibrahim AlKhaleely Onimajesin who fed the seated Ummah with the lecture using doctrines from the Glorious Qur'an, Surah Ad-Duah (Qur'an Chapter 93), which clearly explained to the Ummah, the need to always have faith and believe in Allah (S.W.T.) that He (Allah) had never abandoned (forsaken) His creatures on any of their requests whatsoever, at anytime, stating that Allah (S.W.T.) answers human prayers in Three "3" Ways (Stages) as: requests answered instantly, requests to be answered on the judgement day and requests answered to stop bad incidents about to happen but not known to human.

The well delivered lecture also taught the Ummah seated that, oaths between/among humans should be made using Allah's name and not any of His creatures whatsoever, also the special being of the womanhood, supports to the Governments of the day by not raining words of abuse on them and finally that, it is important that human has Three "3" things: Be Suspicious (Ifura), Be Quick (Afara) and Be Protective (Ifin Ara) in order to live life without fear.

The Lecture of the day was rounded up with Special Prayer Session for the President-Elect, the Governors Elect & the Lawmakers Elect across the Country; also the sitting Government of Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA led by Yeye Shobowale and the entire Ummah in attendance at the Lecture while financial donation was also received from both the sitting Executive Chairman and Immediate Past Executive Chairman of the Council.

The Immediate Past Chairman of the Council, Hon. (Alhaji) Shakiru Adisa Yusuf, Baba Adini of Ipaja Land, in his response to the lecture, thanked Allah (S.W.T.) for everything about Ayobo-Ipaja Local Council being a School he had passed through, which he began with and rounded up with Bismillah and Alhamdulillah respectively, back then, as an Executive Chairman, stating the need to be good as the reason he was considered worthy of being invited as the Distinguished Special Guest of Honour as he laid emphasy on the teachings of the lecture such as uniting family members, steadfastness in prayers with beliefs in Allah (S.W.T.) towards answering human prayers, the special being of the womanhood and most importantly, the special prayers for the Political Class at the Federal, States and Local Councils cm their staff. Rounded up with special Prayer request that Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA becomes a substantive Local Government during the tenure of the Incoming Federal Government Administration and Our Local Council Administration while also appreciating the Planning Committee of the Ramadan Lecture for a well planned program of event for the day.

Delivering the vote of thanks, Hon. Monsuru Danmola, Leader of the Legislative Arm and Chairman, Ramadan Lecture Planning Committee, thanked and appreciated everyone present as well as those absent due to one reason or the other and for all their contributions to the success of the program.

The Ramadan Lecture was indeed a take away, to close the Week into the Easter Celebration Weekend, for the entire Council Executives, Management, Staff and the entire People of Ayobo-Ipaja present at the Lecture.

Easter Day Celebration- After His Crucifixion came His Resurrection: Council Chairman, Yeye Shobowale Felicitates Ayobo-Ipaja Christian Faithfuls

The Executive Chairman, Ayobo-Ipaja Local Council Development Area, Alimosho, Hon. (Chief/Mrs.) Bola Shobowale,JP, felicitates the Christian Faithfuls across the Constituents and the World on Easter Day Celebration which commemorates the rise from death, after Crucifixion, of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Her prayer, for the Christian Faithfuls and the entire People of Ayobo-Ipaja Constituents reads;

"After His Crucifixion came His Resurrection. So shall We All Experience Renewal of All Hopes after Our Past Struggles, This Day & Beyond, Aamen!!!"

John 12:13- "They took branches of Palm Trees and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord".

The Executive Chairman, Ayobo-Ipaja Local Council Development Area, Alimosho, Hon. (Chief/Mrs.) Bola Shobowale (Yeye), greets the Christian folds in Ayobo-Ipaja Local Constituency and around the World on today's celebration of Palm Sunday, being both a happy and sad day for them.

It is a Happy Day because they are praising Jesus Christ and of course, a sad day because Jesus Christ died One Week after the celebration of Palm Sunday.

As the celebration goes on, by the Christians around the World, commemorating Jesus dying and rising again, with the processions and distribution of blessed palm trees, it is very important that the Christians extols the virtues of Palm Sunday vis-a-vis coming Easter Celebration.

Joyous Mood As Ayobo-Ipaja Council Chair Celebrates Governor Sanwo-Olu's Re-Election with the Council Management, Staffs and the Political Clas*.

It was celebration gallore inside the premise of Ayobo-Ipaja Local Council Development Area Secretariat, Igbogila, as the Executive Chairman, Hon. (Chief/Mrs.) Bola Shobowale, Yeye, engaged the entire Council Management, Staffs and the Political Class at the dancing floor to thank them and Almighty God for the Re-Election of Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu for a Second Term in Office as the Governor of Lagos State.

In her remarks, the Executive Chairman stated that she deemed it necessary and very important to have the event, as a way of thanking God Almighty and appreciating everyone, the Council Management, Staffs and the Political Class, for their participatory efforts at the polls, for the Re-Election of Our Governor, Mr. Sellable, knowing fully well that the pre-election period was full of tension across the State.

She declared that the celebration is for the victory of Our State Governor and his Deputy, His Excellency, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and His Excellency, Dr. Kadiri Obafemi Hamzat respectively as well as All Our Candidates representing Alimosho Constituency as; Her Excellency, Dr. Idiat Oluranti Adebule, Senator-Elect for Lagos West and Mr. Ayuba Adele K.K., Member-Elect, Federal House of Representatives, both at the National Assembly, NASS. Others are; Hon. Lukman Orelope Locco, Member-Elect, Alimosho Constituency 01 and Hon. Kehinde Joseph K.J., Member-Elect, Alimosho Constituency 02, both at the House of Assembly, Lagos State.

In other remarks, the Council Director of Budget, Mr. Abiodun Joseph, showed his appreciation for the cooperation and understanding at all times, by the Council Chairman, to the plights of the Council Management and Staffs and assured her of continued cooperation and supports of the Council Management and Staffs throughout her tenure in office.

Similarly, in another remark, the Chairman, National Union of Local Government Employees, NULGE, Ayobo-Ipaja, Comr. Lekan Ajibose, commended the Council Chairman for her motherly supports to the entire Council Staffs. He also, on behalf of the entire staffs, assured her of their unalloyed supports for her re-election bid for the second term in office when the time comes.

The Party Chairman, All Progressives Congress, APC, Ayobo-Ipaja, Hon. (Otunba) Bamidele Ojo, also in his own remarks, thanked the Council Management and Staffs for their contribution in ensuring victory for Our Governor and All Our Candidates at the polls. Stating that the Political Class can be somehow at times, he thanked them for being in good understanding with them and enjoined them to prepare to do same for the Re-Election of the Council Chairman, Hon. (Chief/Mrs.) Bola Shobowale's second term in office very soonest.

The event was brought to it's peak with dance by everyone inclusive of the Council Chairman who danced to the buga song lyric.

The Executive Chairman, Ayobo-Ipaja Local Council Development Area, Alimosho, Hon. (Chief/Mrs.) Bola Shobowale, Yeye, led the Council Executive, Management and Legislative Teams, in the sensitization of Stakeholders and Community Leaders on meaningful participation in the Forthcoming Presidential Election.

The Council Executive Chairman, First Abiyamo of the Council, as she is fondly called by many, in her brief address and remark to the stakeholders and community leaders present, after reeling out the achievements of, vis-a-vis the benefits of, voting the Presidential Candidate of All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Jagaban Borgu, with special references to the socio-economic developments in Lagos State, having led as the State Governor years back, implored them to go out and cast their votes for Asiwaju.

The Executive Chairman appreciated all the attendants for their support of her administration while assuring them of better services as she declared operation show your Permanent Voter Cards, PVCs, where everyone in attendants at the sensitization, raised their hands to display their voter Cards as a sign of their readiness to cast their votes at the forthcoming General Elections.

In their remarks, some stakeholders and community leaders as HRM Oba Israel Kolawole Ajani Egundupe, the Olu of Ipaja Kingdom; Iyaloja General of Ayobo-Ipaja, Deaconess Ajoke Sanni, JP; Elder Joseph O. Olokede, Chairman, Community Development Committee, CDC, Ayobo-Ipaja and others gave their assurance that their votes are for no other candidates other than the candidates of All Progressives Congress, APC.

In another remark, the Chairman, National Union of Local Government Employee, NULGE, Ayobo-Ipaja, Comrade Olalekan Ajibose, on behalf of the staff of the Council, assured the Council Chairman of their preparedness as they are fully ready to cast their votes for all Candidates of All Progressives Congress, APC, across board in the coming General Elections.

In her vote of thanks, the Second Abiyamo of the Council and Council Manager/Head of Administration, Mrs. Mojisola Ogabi, sent words of appreciation cm encouragement to everyone present while assuring the Council Chairman of the supports of the entire management team throughout her administration.
