He is cited by Fortune and The Economist Magazines as the "uber-guru of business," He is a Civil Engineering graduate of Cornell, MBA and a Ph.D. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Served in the U.S. Navy from 1966–1970. He was a White House/OMB drug-abuse policy advisor in 1973–1974, and then worked at McKinsey & Co. from 1974–1981, becoming a partner in 1979. He has written 20 books, including the critically acclaimed "In Search of Excellence: Lessons From America's Best-Run Companies.

COST ACCOUNTANT ROLE IN LAGOS
Currently looking to hire a Cost Accountant for one of the largest importer of plastic raw materials and manufacturer of preforms and caps in Nigeria.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for planning, studying and collecting data to determine cost of business activity such as raw materials, purchases inventory, labour etc.
- Responsible for analyzing actual manufacturing cost and preparing periodic reports comparing standard to actual products cost.
- Support budget preparation (prepares estimates of new and proposed product or service costs recommends cost efficiencies in new product layouts, analyzing cost volume-profit (CVP) relationships and short-term decision making and provide sales Margin analysis by Customer/Product).
QUALIFICATIONS
•Bsc degree in Accounting/Finance/ Industrial Engineering
• Chartered Accountant, passing all groups in first attempt.
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant work experience of which 7 years in relevant position in multinational companies.
• Candidate should have worked in an ERP environment.
