In Africa, there are countless women who have inspired and continue to inspire us with their resilience, innovation, and leadership.
Today, we want to share with you the stories of four African women heroes who have made a significant impact in their respective fields:
1. Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti: Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti was a Nigerian feminist and political activist. She was a leading figure in the struggle for Nigeria's independence and was also a pioneer in women's rights activism in Nigeria.
2. Ellen Johnson Sirleaf: Ellen Johnson Sirleaf was the first female president of Liberia and the first elected female head of state in Africa. She was instrumental in promoting peace, democracy, and economic development in Liberia.
3. Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie: Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie is a Nigerian writer and speaker. She has won numerous literary awards for her novels and essays, including the Orange Prize and the National Book Critics Circle Award. Adichie is also a vocal feminist and has given several TED Talks on gender equality and the dangers of a single story.
4. Hajiya Gambo Sawaba: Hajiya Gambo Sawaba was a Nigerian politician and women's rights activist. She was a vocal advocate for women's participation in politics and was known for her outspoken opposition to military rule in Nigeria. Sawaba also founded the Women's Freedom League and the Northern Elements Progressive Union.
These women have shown us that with determination, perseverance and passion, we can achieve anything we set our minds to. They have challenged the status quo and defied the odds to make a positive impact in their communities and the world.
I hope that they inspire you to achieve great things. You’re capable of making a difference in the world and your voice matters.
Happy Women’s Day to every woman in our community❤️.
We await your emergence💪🏾
Are you killing your children's potentials unknowingly?
As parents, we all want our children to succeed and reach their full potential. But sometimes, without even realising it, we can unintentionally hold them back or even destroy them.
Do you find yourself being overly critical of your child's mistakes or focusing too much on their weaknesses? Do you constantly compare them to others or push them to pursue activities they're not interested in? These are just a few examples of ways that parents can unknowingly stifle their children's potential.
But the good news is, it's never too late to make a change.
By becoming more aware of your parenting style and making a conscious effort to support your children's strengths and interests, you can help them reach their full potential and thrive.
Take a moment to reflect on your parenting practices and ask yourself:
Am I truly empowering my child(ren) to succeed?
What are you putting in your children's hands today that will help them become valuable to the world tomorrow and make you proud? It's a question I hope you’ve been thinking about.
Asides from professional courses like medicine, law, accounting etc, there are not a lot of courses out there that are in demand in the real world. So what happens if your children don’t get to study any of these courses because of one reason or the other?
What do you do then?
Let me introduce you to something that will guarantee your child’s future.
While Mathematics, English, Basic Science, Chemistry etc are good, your child needs to discover who they are in terms of purpose, talents, strengths, and weaknesses.
A bad parent doesn’t care about their child’s future.
A good parent cares and does the best they can do.
A great parent invests in learning how to make their child’s light shine across the world.
To guarantee your child’s future. Register for the NEW RULES OF PARENTING. https://www.iampraisefowowe.com/parentcoaching
This program will show you how to discover your children, and create the right system and environment for their potential to blossom into a tree that never stops yielding fruits.
I look forward to seeing your children thrive in the world and making you proud.
I honour you

Have you been paying close attention to yourself? Have you been watching your internal narrative during these times? Because if you have, you would notice that over the years, with each new goal, with each lofty resolution, often comes a strong pull of resistance in the opposite direction.
“Change my career? No, I'm much too old”
“Secure a promotion? I'm sure it will happen on its own”
And just like every year before it, when the time comes to make a change, these voices DRAG us back. So we begin to sabotage all the plans and resolutions we had hoped to set in motion.
So, as we stand at the edge of a new year, and these voices come to try and instill in you their usual doubt, I want you to remember that it is because you are likely standing at the precipice of great change. At the tip of a life-altering choice.
And I want you to make your decisions, not on the basis of these conditioned fears, but on the knowledge that the thing you desire is at the other side of the jump.

This is how we help children escape the monster called 'Sexual Abuse'
When a child is abused and doesn't get help, they will grow to become abusers. Can you see how abuse came to dominate?
While many people believe that abuse will always be the norm, we believe it can be eradicated by equipping the young ones.
What will this do?
1. Prevent them from being abusers
2. Prevent them from being abused

It’s never too late to make a change in your parenting behaviour or learn some new techniques.
If you notice yourself yelling a lot or losing your temper, ask for help.
A therapist or even another parent can help you sort through some of those feelings and develop a plan to deal with them in a healthier way.
When was the last time you yelled at your child?
Parental guidance is so vital because it starts children on the path to developing their own sense of morality and responsibility.
Sometimes, it's easy to get so caught up with work, sports, school, and other outside activities, that there's little time to spend together as a family.
The funny thing is that many children also aren't interested in spending too much time together as a family.
It's developmentally normal for them to want to be surrounded by their friends and their own activities as they gain independence.
The problem with this is that if their friends aren't morally good, you will lose them. This is why you must bond with them
What activity do you do with your children?
Freedom is the way God intended for you; it is something you were born with.
It is something that no one can take away from you.
Let’s celebrate Freedom!
Happy Independence Day🎉🎊

It's been decided, but let's ask some questions
1. Do you know he was sexually abused a lot when he was younger?
2. Did you notice that in most of his songs, he was asking for help?
3. What role did his parents play in this problem?
Let's hear from you
Are you learning about parenting or do you still know nothing?
If you're learning, how are you learning?
Let's discuss
Wishing a very Happy Birthday our founder & CEO, Praise Fowowe
Do you believe in flogging children?
Drop in the comment section your answer
Neglected children and those who are exposed to abuse are more likely to grow up as delinquents.
Other common effects of bad parenting include failure to thrive, poor growth and development both physically and mentally.
It can also lead to poor performance in school because their needs are not met at home.
Children exposed to poor parenting are more likely to be withdrawn and stressed.
This negatively affects their performance.
