I always wanted to ask a question

Every time I see people pile up things that's not there just to make something look good.

Are these people missing persuasion up with lies?

Or is copywriting about piling up beautiful lies?

I downloaded a lot of books and videos.

And since I have been in marketing already, I just have to learn the basics of Copywriting and keep on learning marketing.

The best day of this year was the day i know Copywriting is what I was born and bred to do 🥳

I mean, I see myself writing but I also don't want to loss my persuasive and highly convincing self.

And boom, something that gives more than it takes, and make everyone happy.

For everyone looking for a skill to learn.

This is what I always tell my students (in Arabic School)

If you can do it for passion and get paid, you can do it for eternity and come back 💯

List out every single thing you are good at ✨, everything you love doing✨, and everything you wish to do (or be)✨.

List out all your passion/ hobbies💥, and experience/interest💥.

Then compare the list and combine.

Mix 1 passion with every experiences.

And when you find a combo that ring a bell, put it down somewhere neatly😎

You should at least have 10 passion and experience each.

And the combination of those should give you 10 combo.

Cross our the combo until you find at least 3 that are lucrative 💯

Just make researches and see which 3 have the most search results on Google and LinkedIn.

Then check each out and see which one you see yourself doing in the next 5 and 10 years.

In other words, look for 1 that is 'one of the job of the future'

That's how you choose a career, niche or even a course you want to enjoy doing.

I make sure I finish my work early last week.

To think of my favorite fictional person of the year, Richard.

Okay that's half the truth, I was just quoting lots of his words lately and I read his series like 3 month ago 😌

I plan on reading just on book every month since The Sword of Truth series is of 11 books only

But I end up reading it every Saturday😁

That's when I grasp the true meaning of consistency🔥

And since, I have been doing things consistently without stressing it.

I wrote about how to be super consistent at what you do;

Because really, Consistency is easy all you just have to do is re-define it.

Consistency is evenness; that's all💯

And anything you are consistent about, you just have to do it same time, same day, everytime you plan to do it✅

Not necessarily everyday❌

The night I shoot my shot was the same night I got the job🥳

It was late in the night around 10 p.m.

I have promised myself to sleep early.

But I couldn't help taking another stroll through WhatsApp Status 😌

While doing that, I came across a shiny status😍

A new agency is in need of Copywriters and there was a WhatsApp link at the end of the text.

My unconventional approach amused the guy in charge (he told me 🤭)

Then flap...flap... and soar🕊️

I was in the agency, brainstorming with great persons and making decisions.

That was my first official gig and it happens more like it's a dream, why?

Because, I am well prepared for it.

It's an opportunity and like the saying goes;

Opportunities would come but you would only be able to grab them when you are prepared.

If you're ever in need of words that boost sales and conversions.

And I've never, for once, heard even my youngest sibling, make any of the above blunders😕

Of course, the lies are the most terrible.

Then one Thursday night, my mind replayed a scene from Unilorin Writers' Workshop.

Someone said he is a copywriter and 'write to sell'.

I did some research and that lead me to YouTube where I downloaded 30+ videos about

And I spent the next 5 days watching all those.

'Yes that, we can them dullard in Nigeria and I am dyslexic,

I know a lot of words and would always feel better omitting or swiping big words with 'better ones'

I remember when I was writing one day and have to ask my seatmate to spell 'I' 🤬

I remember my dad asking my brother to spell 'personnel' for me😿

I remember a teacher scoring me down because my writing is plain awful😟

I remember having to face a teacher because I can't write his definition word for word🥺

I remember not long ago when I was tutoring a mate, I have to ask him to pronounce a word for me😣

I remember getting none of my mathematics answers correctly in my first year in junior school.

Yes, this is me being vulnerable to show you how strong you are; how strong you can be.

If this dyslexic one can read 3 books a week, what about you?
