Topic: Restoring Truth by Avoiding Uneccesary Quarrels

Texr: 2 Tm 2: 14Keep reminding God’s people of these things. Warn them before God against quarreling about words; it is of no value, and only ruins those who listen. 15Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.

Rhema From Scriptures
There is thisplace in London called Hydes Park (Speakers Corner). In this place people who wish to debate with one another over matters of faith come together to share there views. Often it leads to disappointments and anger. Often the heated debates are between Christians and Muslims. Each group using intellectual arguments to win the other over, to evangelise. Most of these efforts are futile because arguments often leads to quarreling which defeats the purpose.
I used to argue alot but I come to this truth, that the work of converting the unbeliever is done by the Holy Spirit. If it was done through academic arguments then Apostle Paul would have had great success. But the opposite was the case.
Therefore let us avoid unnecessary arguments which leads quarreling but to preach the word in the power of the Holy Ghost.

Text: 2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

As long as Christians see the bible as the guiding light and stay true to its teachings we will all be better off. Today we have churches bending to please the people. Scriptural truth is suppressed by so called modernisation. Seeker friendly churches where everything goes. God tells us that the scripture us both for doctrine and correction. Nothing should take the place of sound doctrine. Sin should be refroofed and righteousness preached.
I decree a new dawn for blessings into your life IJN amen.
