When my call up letter notification came into my email, I was super excited to serve Nigeria (I still am). However, when I got to Lagos camp, I wasn't particularly pleased as they wouldn't let me go in with my DSLR. Thankfully, I had a BlackBerry Q10 back then. I was a big geh 😩😂 (If you've been following me since the inception of this account, you'd have seen where I shared how I lost that phone and found it by God's help.)

The NYSC experience changed me. I made a lot of friends who are family today. I fell in love (love wey almost kee person 😩😂). I encountered purpose and my calling was redefined.

I got two scholarships in business and entrepreneurship development sponsored by cc and cc . These trainings helped shape me, my businesses and my career choices.

There were lots of negatives that came with my service to my country. The biggest one was TRIBALISM. I cannot overemphasize on this. Nigerians, we are ONE. (You may check out my vlog for video I shared about this.) NYSC can provide better care for corps members. We suffer unnecessarily for absolutely no reason. If given another chance to serve as a corps member, I'll definitely choose to serve in the Northern part of Nigeria. Enjoyment is waiting for you there! 😂🙌🏽

Overall, God favoured me during my NYSC. It was a blessed experience ✨🙏🏽
