Disciples are not super-Christians.They are followers of Christ Jesus.At the same time,disciples are more than converts)Acts 11:26).They have moved beyond profession of faith into a lifelong pursuit of living life like Jesus.

Discipleship changed after the Ascension of Jesus from the Disciples following Jesus to the church following the Spirit.Therefore, Discipleship is following Jesus by having a relationship with the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:17; Romans 8:14).
Jesus did not have to tell us how to go and make Disciples because He left the Spirit to guide us(John 16:13).

Every believer is a Disciple of Jesus.But Jesus does not disciple every believer.Believers are discipled by MEN(Matt.28:19)

As Disciples of Christ,we are not to say one thing and live another.

If a Disciple is truly Wise,then he is truly humble (Jas.3:13)

A Disciple cannot have a correct understanding about God without wanting to live in a way that pleases God.

A Disciple is a supernatural person or being and in the supernatural, miracles are natural to the Disciple.He does not run after miracles but the Word.

A Disciple is made by good Bible teachings.When a Disciple is taught well,he/she will have nowhere else to go other than to stay with the teacher (Jn.6-60-69)

A true Disciple makes God's Word the basis of all his actions and decisions.

Discipleship is carefully listening to one's instructor.It boils down to how we listen.
Discipleship is a road less taken or travelled by many so called Christians.
FIVE THING ABOUT HOW TO KNOW A TRUE DISCIPLE
1.Has a strong passion for God and spiritual things more than anything else (Lk.9:57-62).
2.Takes up his cross daily and follow( Matt.10:38;Lk.14:27).God.Puts God first in everything (Matt.6:33).
3.Turns the title deed of their lives to Christ.Forsakes all he has(Matt.19:27-30). Everything you have cones from God.
4.Impacts his culture.We are the salt of the Earth (Matt.5:13).Speaks against evil.
5.Brings forth spiritual fruit (Jn.15:5,8,15-16).

The process of discipleship is that of authority transfer (Matt.28:18-20). When you become a Disciple, authority has been delegated to you.Being a Disciple helps you to share in Divine authority in your everyday life.When you become a Disciple, you get the rights and privileges that belongs to Christ (Matt.28:18;Lk.10:19).

A Disciple is one who's consistently living under Christ's rule in their decision making.They are constantly operating under the rule of Christ over their lives.Not just one who has accepted Christ and is going to heaven.
A Disciple is one that allows heaven to dictate to him/ her on Earth.A Disciple is measured by his decisions and not by his emotions.
Discipleship is coming under the rule of God in ur decision making and to consistently apply that in every area of ur life.
As u increasingly make decisions with the rule of God over ur life then u are increasingly in discipleship, vice versa.

A Disciple will carefully Read, Study and Live according to God's Word (Jn.8:31-32). Reading Studying and Living according to Scriptures is what sets free.As disciple,am learning and teaching others(Matt.11:28-30;28:19-20).As a follower of Jesus, it's either am being discipled by someone orI should be discipling someone else by passing the Truth on(Col.1:28).We should all be discipled or making disciples.You cannot reach anyone further than you yourself have come to know (1 Cor.11:1).We are living examples of what Jesus looks like.

A Disciple listens carefully to his instructor.Your life depends on instructions.

The hardest people to Disciple are those who have been Christians for so many years but they have not been discipled properly.

In Discipleship,as we learn more about who we are in Christ, God gives us Grace in every situation, Grace that enables us to more than cope with anything that happens.

Discipleship involves helping others to know what you know (John15:15). Jesus is our Perfect Example in Discipleship.

The place of teaching cannot be overemphasised in Pacesetter Discipleship Program,once we are to see ourselves in Christ,our conducts and behavior adjusts on its own.Once this is understood,you won't struggle with confessing of son's.What the believer needs is knowledge of who he is in Christ.That's just it, period.

In Discipleship, the teaching of the Word brings us to a place of maturity in Christ.Wrong teaching makes us unstable,it makes us carried away.Skilled speakers easily deceive those that are not founded on the teaching of Christ.It makes believers to settle and walk in the world system.
When believers are not founded on the doctrine of Christ,they are easily carried away by every wind of doctrine (Eph.4:14).

A disciple does not learn in order to show what he has.He learns to put into practice what he has learnt.This attitude is the essence of true discipleship.
A Disciple accepts the Bible as the only source of true Christian Faith.
One major difference between a believer and a Disciple is that while the believer is "in the raw stage", the Disciple is "a work in progress" in Heaven's factory.

Discipleship is the process of becoming a disciple.It's better caught than taught-Someone said.It is a life long journey.

When the Word of God is properly taught,it reveals.
