You’re going to take on new grounds!
Go for it!
We’re rooting for you!
Seeing unity in diversity is one thing that is almost lost amongst young people and this should not be the case.
📌Youths must learn how to cooperate and see eye to eye with people of differing opinions.
This will foster the relationship not only between people but also continents!
It is a good week to hold others in high esteem!

This is why we do what we do.
African youths have moved beyond asking questions about our internal economy and growth alone, they now have urgent questions about the role international relations is playing in our policy formulations and implementations.
Hence, we prioritize interactive sessions where these questions can be answered.
Our facilitators are seasoned professionals with good understanding of trending issues in the African economy, and they share freely from their wealth of knowledge.
You’re sure to learn something useful!
Courtesy of the participants of the 1st cohort of the EU-Africa Connect Summer School, this 2nd cohort will receive weekly mentorship.
The mentorship is an original idea of the first cohort aimed at giving participants a platform to ask questions about their modules, and learn from the experiences of past participants.
The planning committee of the EU-Africa Connect Summer School commends their efforts!
This week, participants will learn about the European culture, languages of their chosen EU countries, and how the EU politics and institutions have involved over the years.
The purpose of these lessons are to help them make sense of the current economic and monetary unions that exist in Africa, and identify areas for our improvement. Also they can make meaningful contributions to these conversations whenever they encounter them in their lives.
In the mix, they also learn the democratic values that have helped the EU to be a strong institution that doesn’t steal the sovereignty of its member states.
Whether they become legislators, diplomats, analysts or researchers, we work to give them the best start.
The entire board of the EU Africa Summer School Connect welcomes our new participants and facilitators to the 2nd Edition of its Summer School.
As you join us today, we look forward to your full commitment and dedication throughout the program.

Here, we discuss one of the numerous proposed policies presented before the European Union.
The minister, representing the Committee of Regions proposed a policy seeking to combat illegal migration into the EU Member states. There was a clear examination of the policy through discussion on the floor of the EU parliament and the policy was later endorsed after passing certain readings.
Do you have any idea of the procedures used before these could happen? If the guess is right, you now know the right step to take.

As we continue to celebrate International Women's Day, one of our facilitators, Dr. Omolara Quadri, emphasized that it's equity over equality because women should complement men, not compete with them. A focus on gender equity should be an integral part of every society because it creates an inclusive world.
During her session on European Union politics and policies, she reminded us that every policy has a reason and an objective. We were able to analyze the complexity of public policy and identify several factors, including the involvement of multiple actors, the availability of resources, competing interests and policy preferences, and various instruments such as lobbying, bargaining, and persuasion that can lead to many problems.
It was fascinating to see our female EU participants engage in meaningful conversations about politics.
We extend our gratitude to Dr. Omolara and all women who are making a positive impact in the political sector.

It's another International Women's Day and the theme is EmbraceEquity. People need to understand the difference between equity and equality.
Each one of us can actively support and embrace equity within our own sphere of influence. We can all challenge gender stereotypes, call out discrimination, draw attention to bias, and seek out inclusion.
At EUAfricaConnect, we believe collective activism is what drives change.
Cheers to another International Women's Day 🥂❤️
