To standout in your industry as a business owner, you need to stay on course and protect your business values by all means.

Leave that design tips and tricks to your graphics designer, the video editing tips is not for you, allow the video editor learn it. Stop getting distracted with knowledge that you don't need.

You have to let go of habits that limit your dreams in order to achieve big goals. Some of these habits are:

1. Believing you know it all
2. Thinking you don't know anything
3. Not taking actions because you feel the results will take time to show
4. Not reading far and wide
5. Reverence
6. Satisfaction with being small
7. Not having a positive mindset
8. Not spending some time alone to think about your activities
9. Having friends who do not help you dream big
10. Too much love for money such that you miss future bigger opportunities for quick little money.

Once you accept that some of these habits are limiting your potentials, decide to get intentional about eliminating them, begin to work on yourself and before you know it, you would start to rise above average and standout from the crowd.

⏹ Don't ever settle for average, be EXTRA.

The biggest trap is spending your life improving your life, but never really enjoying it.

The second biggest trap is spending your life always enjoying, but never improving.

Both will make you equally frustrated.

The more readers see this type of content on your page, the more inclined they'd be to look forward to your posts, because the brain likes to feel good and it will always remind your readers to go to that page which always makes them feel good.

This is why you'd log into Instagram or Facebook and start looking forward to your favorite hacks page, inspirational or comedy page.

You also have to do these:

You see, when you focus all your efforts on other aspects of your business without paying attention to the above list, you risk having a short-lived business.

As you can see, it's not that bad when you start doing something as a newbie.

It's when you become accustomed to it that you now realise you've grown in it.

I'm a self taught website designer (kindly note that I didn't say developer) but I didn't start out designing functional websites. I started with Blogger, and here I am slaying WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, and Zoho.

I'm still learning these skills but I would not have been able to earn with the little knowledge I have if I didn't start building the skill in the first place.
