The bathroom is a room where its four walls sees the private and sensual parts of individual's body when we enter it every day to wash away our dirtiness or impurities.

Therefore, it should be considered as a sacred, cleansing, refreshing, restoring and self care sensual spiritual transforming place.
Believe it or not, there are some unseen forces in the bathroom space.

Among many that have slipped and slumped in the bathroom, only about 1% of them have survived to tell the story. And those few that survived have scars that remind them of their experiences.

Before modernisation, our grandparents built both bathrooms and toilets away from the main building because they knew the sacredness and the spiritual implications attached to it.

We must consider these vital factors as we construct our bathrooms and toilets within the buildings and more importantly, when we want to use them:

How often do you take advantage of fruits in season for your wellness? God does not make those juicy, fleshy and sweet fruity for our wonders. Not at all.

Someone asked me this question today and I will like to share my response to him with you.

Yes, sugar is very important for our wellness. Sugar is the main fuel that helps us to stay active and healthy. The cells of the body in our vital organs and brains need sugar ( glucose) used as energy to function well. However, the question we should ask is what type or from which source should we get healthy sugar?

It will be disastrous if you get most of the sugar you consume from added sugar which are abundant in processed foods and drinks.
We tend to consume more than the required amount of sugar our body literally needs because of the sweetness of the food and drinks we enjoy. That's why we are faced with obesity, hbp, diabetes, hormonal imbalance e.t.c.

The healthy sugar must be got from carbohydrates, fruits, protein and healthy fat in their ADEQUATE PROPORTION. Therefore, the next time you want to eat, choose natural sugar over added sugar to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

HOW OFTEN DO YOU P**P?

Each time we eat, our body extracts the nutrients in soluble form in the small intestine and absorbs it into the bloodstream while the undigested food (insoluble) is stored in the large intestine (colon) for some hours before it is passed out as p**p.

You can imagine the kind of unbearable odour and sight when you keep pouring your regular cooked food in a waste basket or container in the kitchen for days without emptying it in the main refuse bin outside the house. That's the case if you do not empty your bowel every day whereas you are eating regularly. You can imagine how your colon will look like. This is simply constipation.

When you move your bowel everyday it is a sign that your gut and colon is healthy. It will help you prevent colon cancer, expunge toxins from your system amongst others.

The longer the waste in the colon, the harder and difficult it gets to pass it out and the possibility of causing some discomfort as well. Normal p**p must be soft, frequent, well-formed and easy to pass out.

Whenever you observe any change in your p**p frequency and appearance especially for a long period, do not ignore it.

* It is education that makes a person understand that his/her action will either have a positive and negative effects on nature thereby choosing not to dump refuse or chemical substances in drainages or water bodies nor litter the ground in which the harmful effects will definitely come back to him/her and other living things.

* It is education that makes a person choose to avoid eating and drinking some food which are poisonous rather than nutritious.

*. It is education that makes you understand that worries cannot solve your problems but will rather cause you high blood pressure and destroy your vital organs.

*. It is education that will make you understand that the health issue you are seeking medical help on, did not begin the day you started feeling terribly sick therefore it is going to take a while to get it fixed.

*. It is education that will make a person abstains from improper acts that can expose him/her to venereal diseases.

EFFECTS OF MINDSET ON YOUR HEALTH

I will omit discussing about how diet influence our health because I have explained similar topic in my previous post.

Therefore, I will be examining how our mindsets influence our health.

WHAT IS MINDSET?
Mindset can be simply defined as, your unique perspective and philosophy of the world which comprises your attitude and how you react to everyday situations (both positive and negative situations).

Your Mindset can have a profound effect on your physical health as well as your mental, social and emotional well-being.

I have encountered some people who out of panic complained of having some deadly diseases because of some similar symptoms they were experiencing but after much lab tests, we discovered the ailments were just common illnesses and within few minutes of disclosing the test results to them, all the symptoms would disappear just like that.

Sometimes, mindset makes us tell ourselves some stories that are not real and these keep replaying in our minds thereby causing us some psychological issues, toying with our emotions and eventually eating deep into our physical and social lives. No wonder it was concluded after some researches conducted at Cornell University in New York that, '85% of what people worry about never happens'.

Pawpaw is a juicy and nutritious fruit that is low in calories, high in fibre and packed with some minerals and vitamins.

NEEDED ITEMS
*. Unripe pawpaw
* Carrots
*. Lime juice
*. Garlic
*. Tomatoes
*. Cameroon pepper
*. Chilli pepper both green and red
*. Unsalted peanut
*. Fresh shrimps
* Basil leaves
*. Garlic powder
* Ginger powder
*. Soy or fish sauce
*. Lettuce leaves
*. Original honey

PREPARATION
* Remember to prepare uncooked food hygienically.
* Rinse the pawpaw well and peel off the skin.
* Season the shrimps with some freshly picked basil leaves, ginger powder and garlic powder and simmer for 5 minutes.
