If you got text message concerning admissions into College of Nursing Sciences Obohia Ndoki, kindly download your letter of invite from the College website https://www.collegeofnursingobohia.org.ng/overview using your Jamb Registration number. Every information you need is in the letter.

However, take note of the following

1. You must have 5 credits in English, Math, Chemistry, Physics and Biology.

NOTICE TO INTENDING NURSING AND MIDWIFERY STUDENTS

If you received a text message to come for admission screening at the College of Nursing Sciences Obohia Ndoki,

Kindly note the following

1. The College is duly licensed by Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria and accredited by National Board for Technical Education NBTE.

2. The Nursing and Midwifery programme will run for uninterrupted 5 years. Within the period, you are expected to embark on clinical postings, obtain an ND, HND, write all the required professional exams for indexing, certification and licensing.

3. Visit the College website https://www.collegeofnursingobohia.org.ng/overview, and input your Jamb Registration number to download the letter of invite

4. Print the Invitation letter; it contains all the requirements you need for the screening

5. Screening commenced yesterday October 2, and will end on the 20th of October 2023.

6. Come along with your WAEC/GCE/NECO results. You must have five credit of Maths, English, Biology, Chemistry and Physics in not Kore than two sittings.

7. Print out your JAMB result. The cut off must be 150 and above.

8. Come along with your birth certificate, certificate of origin, other supporting documents and 4 passport size photograph

8. Admission will be based on merit, possessing the qualifications as well as on first come first served basis.

Principal Officers led by the Provost, Ugoeze Uchenne Grace Nwankwo, paid a Visit to the first Baby born at the College Hospital, College of Nursing Sciences Obohia Ndoki. Baby items and cash gift were presented to Baby on behalf of the College

Baby Favour, a handsome boy, born to the family of Mr. and Mrs Favour Ekekeli, arrived yesterday, September 28, 2023, at about 5pm.

The Delivery was safely handled by Dr. Kelechi Ferdinand Nwibo and his team of experts.

College Hospital is fully equipped to provide quality healthcare services at a subsidized rate.

Applications are hereby requested from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the College of Nursing Sciences, Obohia Ndoki, in Ukwa East LGA of Abia State, for 4 years full time National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND) Programmes in General Nursing.

Entry Requirement for admission into the ND General Nursing is Five (5) Credits in WASC, SSCE, NECO or GCE O Levels in not more than 2 sittings.

DAY 5 COLLEGE OF NURSING FREE MEDICALS

Today, the free medical services train of the College of Nursing Sciences Obohia Ndoki, landed at Obeaku Community, the fifth community in the row to benefit.

The College has a state of the art hospital which is open to the public at a subsidized rate.

More than 150 people were attended to, with various tests carried out and drugs administered free of charge.

College of Nursing Sciences Obohia Ndoki is setting the pace for training of Middle level.health personnel and provision of accessible and affordable health services.

COLLEGE OF NURSING FREE MEDICALS

DAY 4 of the Free Medical Outreach organised by College of Nursing Sciences Obohia Ndoki.

The Venue was the Town Hall, Obohia.

More than 150 persons were attended to. Free tests were conducted and drugs dispensed at no cost.

The College has a state of the art hospital open to members of the public with first class medical personnel.

Day 3 of College of Nursing Sciences Obohia Ndoki Medical Outreach was at Obunku Autonomous Community,home to Provost of the College, Ugoeze Uche Grace Nwankwo.

More than 100 persons were attended to and treated free of charge.

Principal Officers of College of Nursing Sciences Obohia Ndoki paid a royalty visit to the Palace of Chimeremeze 1, Eze Ikwueke 4th of Obunku, Oba and Ohanso Autonomous Community, HRH, Eze Dr. I C. Nwankwo

The visit was to let the Eze know that the College Medical Outreach team, has landed to offer medical services to the community free of charge.

The Royal Father prayed for the success of the College, Principal Officers and the Students.

The Provost of the College, Ugoeze Uche Grace Nwankwo is the Wife of the Eze.

As part of its corporate social responsibilities, College of Nursing Sciences Obohia Ndoki, has flagged off a 9 days free medical outreach. The flag off which took place Monday September 18, 2023, at Health Centre Mkporobo, saw a mammoth crowd troop out in their numbers to be attended to.

Declaring the event open, the Chairman Governing Council of the College, Dr. Godwin Umontuen, represented by the Vice Chairman, Mrs. Confidence Umontuen, said the outreach was in appreciation for the support and hospitality the host communities have extended to the College.

He announced plans for the construction of a teaching hospital and free medical services every last Friday of the Month at the state of the art College Hospital

Free medical services to be offered include Health talk, Doctors consultation, temperature check, BP check, Respiratory check, Pulse check, Blood sugar check, HIV screening, Free HIV drugs, Free BP drugs, Free drugs for sugar, free drugs for pain, Free drugs for arthritis, Free drugs for worms, Free drugs for low blood and Free malaria drugs, etc.

Others to be handled at minimal cost will include Eyes check up, surgeries to be referred to our hospital, pregnancy care and antenatal.

The College entourage included Mrs. Confidence Umontuen, Vice Chairman of the College, Provost of the College, Mrs G.U Nwankwo, Registrar, Deacon Aluu Vincent, Coordinator of the Outreach, Dr. Nwibo Ferdinand Kelechi, and Dean Student Affairs, Mr. Ukaegbu Chinenye C.

Vincent, a University of Calabar graduate of Policy and Administrative Studies, has a Master Degree in Human Resources, another Master Degree in public administration, a post graduate diploma in Journalism and presently awaits a PhD in public administration from the University of Uyo.
