When we fail to come together to confront a shared challenge or enemy, even though such unity would undoubtedly ensure our success and progress, it is clear that we are the ones at fault or our motives are questionable, resulting in our inability to achieve this crucial unity.

Recognizing whether you are a participant or being manipulated determines your success.

Even if you are being manipulated and aware of it, you possess self-awareness and the ability to navigate it also means you are an active participant, you are ready for action.

Life is like a game of chess, where you can be the king, pawn, or even the queen who supports the king's success.

This indicates that you can either be the victor, the loser, or the fighter, and it's important to remember that even a pawn has the potential to become a king.

Dear Seyi Tinubu,

You will be amazed by the number of young people you have empowered politically, who are now preventing other youths from meeting you. They recognize the power of your ability to bring about positive change and uplift hardworking progressive youth. Unfortunately, many of the people surrounding you are motivated by selfishness and falsely present themselves as leaders of the youth. In reality, they are using your name to benefit themselves financially.

Whenever we meet in person, you display humility, leadership qualities, and selflessness. With the contributions you have made to the youth, we have confidence that the future of Nigerian youth politics is secure.

We kindly request that you pay attention to this matter and ensure that individuals who genuinely work hard both digitally and at the grassroots level are adequately rewarded.

Today, Sunday, was a busy day for me as a youth leader with my team. I hosted my Arewa community team, which falls under the umbrella of Occupy Progressives Arewa Lagos State. We discussed various issues and activities, including the upcoming 2024 local government election, the position of the North in Lagos, and, most importantly, a forthcoming symposium. As a goodwill gesture, the Arewa community provided five college education scholarships and a few school bags for primary school students. We have bigger plans in store, and you can expect a lot from this amazing team.

In attendance are Usman Bally Hassan , Chairman Arewa Occupy Progressive Arewa

Hon. Musa Yahya Nice , the Secretary of Occupy Progressive Arewa, and the supervisory councilor of Ajeromi Ifelodun were in attendance.

The trend is not just about seeking justice for Mohbad's death, but also about raising awareness about the harmful effects of bullying.

Bullying can cause physical and mental trauma, and it is unacceptable. We need to teach others that true power does not come from bullying others, but from treating others with kindness and respect.

Let us all come together and fight against bullying to make the world a safer and more inclusive place for everyone.

Let the Youth Breath: The Role of Local Government in Building and shaping a formidable Generation.

While many young people and others are primarily interested in the President, 36 state governors, 48 ministers, 109 senators, and 360 federal house of representatives, my focus lies on the 774 local government Chairmen/ladies that are supported by over 8,000 vice chairmen/lady, over 8,000 secretaries to the local government, over 10,000 legislative ward councillors, and more than 11 thousand departments that across the 774 local government areas. I find myself drawn to the lesser-known positions in politics. The individuals who work locally have just as much, if not more, impact on our daily lives than some of the political officeholders at the state or the federal level. i believe Paying attention to all government levels and their various roles is essential.

As a member of the youth, I firmly believe that local government can play a vital role in empowering our generation; by equipping young individuals with the necessary technological expertise, local governments can foster economic growth, reduce reliance on state and federal assistance, and create a talented workforce for the future capitalizing on the advantage of the global tech industry, a thriving sector valued at an impressive $5.2 trillion if taken seriously, Local governments can help youth reach their full potential and become successful members of society by providing them with access to local innovation hubs (computer labs), tech mentorship programs, and funding.

But that is not the case. When assessing the best performance of Lagos State's local government commission concerning its local government responsibilities, it indicates that a mere 2.58% of local governments in Nigeria are operating to some extent. And suppose 2.58% are just struggling to function. That means 97.42% is a time bomb if not an economic explosion that has drastically affected the nation, but that is a story for another day. Today, my topic is how the youth can breathe through tech using the local government as their hero.

Dear Dr

I hope this message finds you well. I understand the importance of adapting to the rapidly evolving world of education, especially in light of the restructured faculty of computing in Nigerian universities. It is commendable that the new curriculum will encompass various subjects such as cybersecurity, software engineering, and data science, given the global technological advancements.

However, it is important to acknowledge that Nigeria is currently lagging behind in the field of tech education, and many tech experts are self-taught. This is disheartening, as computer science graduates often face difficulties with even basic HTML coding. Hence, I share your concern about the preparedness of our educational sector to teach these new courses.

I am curious to know the level of preparedness of our lecturers to teach these new courses, and whether they have received adequate training to ensure they possess the necessary skills. Additionally, I wonder if we have the required equipment to support our students in becoming leaders in advanced technology within the next year.

To establish a robust foundation in the tech industry, it is crucial to ensure that our lecturers are suitably ready and trained to teach these new courses, and that the required equipment is available to make things more practical for our students. Such collaboration would significantly contribute to securing the future of our students and providing them with the highest quality education.

Thank you for your time and attention to this important matter.

Sincerely,

Alabi Opeyemi oladimeji

When given the opportunity to meet and live with individuals commonly referred to as "Lucky People," it becomes apparent that their success is not solely based on luck. These individuals possess certain traits and habits that contribute to their good fortune. Although luck may play a role in their lives, it is not the sole determinant of their accomplishments.

One of the main attributes of these fortunate individuals is their positive mindset. They have a strong belief in their capabilities and maintain a can-do attitude. This optimistic outlook helps them overcome obstacles and seek opportunities even in difficult situations. They approach life with an open mind, ready to seize any opportunity that comes their way.

Furthermore, lucky individuals are highly proactive. They take initiative and actively pursue their goals instead of waiting for things to happen to them. They are unafraid to take risks and step outside of their comfort zones. By being proactive, they create more opportunities for themselves and increase their chances of success.

Another significant characteristic of lucky individuals is their perseverance. They do not give up easily and remain resilient in the face of failure or setbacks. They view failures as learning experiences and use them to grow and improve. Their determination and dedication allow them to continue moving forward, even during challenging times.

Additionally, lucky individuals are often highly curious and open-minded. They constantly seek new knowledge and experiences, which broadens their horizons and exposes them to different opportunities. They are not afraid to explore unfamiliar territories and embrace change. This curious nature helps them discover hidden possibilities and make the most of them.

The Journey from my toilet " How my Restroom Inspired the standing ovation by Mr President and my Aknowlegment as a candidate by the Governor of Lagos State

- ALABI OPEYEMI OLADIMEJI

I rarely enjoy reading long texts, but I am writing one that might be inspiring.

One Sunday morning, while in the restroom, I was scrolling through the political achievements of myself and my team on my phone. Though they may be minor accomplishments, I felt incredibly proud of them. I had gained a reputation as a social media defender of the previous administration and our political party. This alone garnered me over 40k followers on Facebook, 25k on Twitter, and over 100 million engagements and impressions. However, I wanted something more substantial than just an online reputation and praise, as those are unsustainable.

Still in the restroom, I recalled how my team and I had organized an Independence Day celebration with the assistance of Mrs. Elizabeth Obanla . On a day filled with Oduduwa Republic protests, I'm proud I brought Lagos people together to celebrate Nigeria instead of advocating for a breakup.. This event allowed me to meet numerous individuals with whom I would form my team and some who would seek to undermine me, but that's a story for another time.

After returning from the event, I pondered how to utilize my talent for gathering people to achieve even greater things. This was when the idea for Occupy Progressives was born. I had previously created some socio-political movements, such as NUG and NPYP, which unfortunately did not gain traction. As I was saying, Valiant Samson Idowu-Alaba brought up the idea of the Buhari train tour, a concept aimed at showcasing the remarkable infrastructure work of President Buhari, which numerous critics had discredited. Once again, this program allowed me to meet incredible individuals and those who wished to undermine me. The program was a tremendous success, and they honoured four of my teammates in the APC magazine's Face of Progressives 2nd edition. In the previous edition, I was featured in the top 50.

Still in the restroom, read the rest for free on my website https://alabiopeyemi.com/?p=617

Abubakar was hesitant to inquire when he approached Tinubu in 2011 to seek a platform for his presidential campaign. He also had reservations when he teamed up with Tinubu in 2015. However, now that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has emerged as the winner over him, Atiku has started asking unreasonable questions. The magnitude of his hypocrisy should be a subject taught at the University of Chicago.

Meanwhile, let us welcome Atiku to the group of retired politicians who have become influencers,

Someone should please ask him, "How much does he charge per tweet?"

EVERYTHING WE HEAR IS AN OPINION, NOT A FACT. EVERYTHING WE SEE IS A PERSPECTIVE, NOT THE TRUTH.

It is important to remember that every piece of information we come across is someone's viewpoint and not necessarily a factual statement. Similarly, every visual representation we encounter is a particular way of looking at things, not necessarily the absolute truth.

This serves as a reminder that we should not unquestioningly accept everything we hear or see. The term "opinion" refers to a belief or judgment that lacks factual or knowledgeable basis. On the other hand, "fact" denotes something that is known to be true. "Perspective" refers to a unique viewpoint, while "truth" refers to something that aligns with reality or facts.

This quote implies that we should approach information critically and not simply take it at face value. We should scrutinize and evaluate what we hear or see, considering the perspective of the person sharing it.

To gain a clearer understanding of the world, we must be receptive to various perspectives. We should be willing to question our own beliefs and be open to learning from others.

I want to believe that not all of the 32 state youth leaders who signed the letter allowing Seyi Tinubu to choose the next Minister of Youths are speaking on behalf of all the youths in the APC.

is an exceptional leader with the capability, but it is damaging his name and reputation when 32 youth leaders, who are on average over the age of 50, publicly express their support for him to select the youth leader.

The chairman of our party should investigate this matter. The youth wing of the party should face consequences, from the national youth leader to the 32 state youth leaders who endorsed that document.

OPEN LETTER TO MR PRESIDENT

Dear President of the federal republic of Nigeria LET THE POOR BREATHE

I am writing to you with a plea to improve the lives of the Nigerian people. Specifically, I believe that creating the MINISTRY OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS would help to independently run the affairs of the 774 local governments and other local development areas. As the third tier of government, local governments are responsible for directly delivering to the people. Unfortunately, they have not been able to fully enjoy the benefits of democracy due to sabotage by state governments.

Establishing a federal government ministry to tackle the effects of the virus affecting local governments would go a long way toward improving the situation. It would also help to address issues related to insecurity, local health sectors, and productivity at the local level. Concentrating on the local government would be the fastest way to identify national problems and eradicate poverty and hunger in local communities. It would also improve reliable security intel to the armed forces and paramilitary and improve productivity by designating production policy for each local government.

Currently, Nigeria's surfaced roads total 108,000km, but the Federal Government only controls 32,000km (18%). The remaining 82% belongs to states and local governments. Even if the FG fixes the 32,000km/18%, Nigeria will still have terrible roads. Additionally, out of the more than 2,000 government hospitals in Nigeria, the FG only controls less than 75.

True development will come at the state and local government levels. No country develops from the center, and our electorate must focus on the grassroots. The FG at the center will not solve more than 10% of our daily challenges. If we want to live up to the ideals of reaching out to the people at the local level and making sure the poor breathe, we have to reform the local government and let them behave like a government they are created to be.

Thank you for your attention to this matter, Mr. President. I hope that implementing these changes will improve the lives of the Nigerian people and help lift them out of poverty.

Sincerely,
Alabi Opeyemi
