'Usoolul Iman' as it is fondly called, lifted a memorable step on Saturday, July 2004, and has since then continued to run as a private and independent Madrasah. We are a vibrant and focused school, dedicated to providing quality mainstream and Islamic education to our pupils. Our belief and hardwork quality; individual-centered education, with correct taribiyah upbringing, are ever compromised t

The Qur’an was sent down in the blessed night of Laylatul Qadr.
Therefore, one of the recommended acts of worship as you search for the blessed night is to recite the Qur’an as much as you can.
Elongate your recitation in solah, sit down and recite, encourage your family to do the same.

Raise your hands in prayer and ask Him for all your needs.

Servants of Allah, the most blessed nights of the year are upon us.
In these nights lies a night whose blessings are greater than a thousand month of worship.
This is your opportunity to overturn that unfavourabe circumstance and ask your Lord for a better one.
Sleep less, pray more, and wake your children too!

We are in the last third of this Blessed Month
This is the part where one of its nights is equal to 1000 months of committed worship
This is the part where destinies are changed and fate is rewritten
This is the part where sins are forgiven and errors are overlooked
How then should we welcome this month?
The prophet (SAW) asked us to search for the Night of Qadr in these last ten nights.
He (SAW) used to seclude himself in the mosque throughout these ten days (Itikaf), reading the Qur'an and doing other acts of worship, all in search of the Night of Majesty.
What are your plans for Itikaf

As we approach the last ten nights of Ramadan, you should start making plans to improve your tahajjud
In these blessed nights where we search for the Night of Majesty, it is important to stay up in the night and devote ourselves completely to Allah
Qiyamu-layl gives us a unique opportunity to call upon Allah without the distractions
What are the requests you have? Wake up in the night and ask Him in total devotion.

Why is greeting so important in Islam?
Because it is a means of spreading love and peace in the society
When you greet people, regardless of whether you know them or not, you are actively spreading love in the society
Give food and greet people.
Usoolul-Iman Tahfeez School Usoolul-Iman Madrasah

Greetings is a fundamental part of our religion
When someone greets you, greet them with something better
If they say Salaam alaykum, reply with wa alaykum salaam warahmatullah
If they say salaam alaykum warahmatullah, reply with wa alaykum salaam warahmatullah wabarakatuhu
And even if you can’t reply with something better, reply with something similar.

With discomfort comes ease. Also, with discomfort comes forgiveness.

How marvellous is the case of the believer! Nothing befalls us except that Allah forgives our sins from it.

Why then would we not be patient?

We’re halfway into Ramadan. It’s likely that you’re feeling tired and exhausted. Remember, brethren, that Allah would never let your actions be in vain. The rewards of the long nights of tahajjud and long days of thirst will never go to waste. All you have to do is stay steadfast on His path.

The prophet (SAW) exemplified what true Islam is. He showed us that true Islam is simple. He showed us that it is a religion that doesn’t demand the extreme of actions. So, as followers of rasuluLLah (SAW), we should also ensure that we do not make things extra hard for ourselves, nor for those around us.

Ramadan is not legislated to make life difficult for Muslims.
Rather, Allah wants us to have ease even as we stay away from food and drink.
Be quick to break your fast at iftar and take your time while eating sahur.
If you have good food, eat good food.
The religion of Islam is easy

No action is little.
On the day of judgement, all our actions will be presented, including the tiniest of them.
Every single time you meet your fellow Muslim with a cheerful face, a good deed is recorded for you.
Imagine doing this multiple times a day.

It never goes unnoticed. Never.
Every single good deed will be recorded for you.
Even if it's just holding the door open for someone, smiling at your brother, or simply saying "thank you". Everything will be returned to you.
So why hold back from doing that good deed? Why delay that good act? Why hesitate?

Imitating the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in being the best to our families requires more than mere words
—it demands consistent actions. Staying steadfast in faith and belief in Allah involves following His commands, fulfilling our obligations, and wholeheartedly committing to Him, as there is no true success in this world or the hereafter without such dedication.

A believer makes decision based on the criterion of good.

The question is: Is there good in this for me in this world and the next?

If the answer is yes, such action is done with complete commitment.

Such is the manner of the believer

Saying it is easy. But what about the doing part? is by dutifuly performing

How do you stay steadfast on your faith and belie in Allah?

IT is by following His commands.

It is by dutifully performing the obligations He has given to us.

It is by strongly believing that there is no success in this world or the hereafter without a total commitment to Allah.

The family unit is the foundation of the ummah.

A strong and well bound family will produce well rounded individuals that will grow to become successful Muslims.

Maintain good family ties.

Give charity to your kinsmen.

Speak kindly to your siblings.

Uphold the best of relationship with your blood relations.

Allah and His Messenger (SAW) have promised increased provisions and long life for whoever does this.

The keys to true success lies in the box of repentance.

As humans, it is normal for us to err every once in a while. However, the beauty of a man is in his ability to turn back to Allah and ask forgiveness for his sins.

We are all sinners, but the best of sinners are those who repent.

If RasuluLlah (SAW) seeks Allah's forgiveness 100 times a day, how many times a day should I seek His forgiveness?

Remember that Allah has already forgiveness all of his (SAW) sins, yet he repents to Allah multiple times.

What about you and I that pile up sin upon sin every day? How often should we repent to Allah?

SubhanaLlah.

We should repent to Allah and seek his forgiveness every single time, and every moment we remember our sins.

May Allah accept our repentance

What is the reward for the patient?

What is the reward for holding tight to the rope of Allah when things get tough?

The rewards are limitless and beyond what can be accounted for.

Limitless rewards in this world, limitless rewards in the hereafter.

This is what the patient will be blessed with.

The ability to keep strong and hold tight when things get tough is a gift from Allah.

It is a gift that raises the rank of a man to a level of closeness to Allah.

When things get tough, and things will surely get tough, we must demonstrate beautiful patience.

Why? Because we understand that everything that happens to us is entirely from Allah, and everything that He does is ultimately good for us.

So, hold tight and keep your trust in Him

Yaa Ramadan, how much our hearts have longed for you.

We have gone a whole year without you…

A whole year without your comfort and blessings

A whole year without the unparalleled mercy that the Most Merciful has put into you.

And now, here you are again, to calm our hearts...

To recharge our emaan and return us to that familiar state of tranquility and peace.

O Allah, bring Ramadan over us with blessing and faith, security, and Islam.

Ameen

Did you know that passive learning is an important addition to a child's education?
Aside from the instructions from a teacher in class, children also learn from the things they see and experience in their environment.
This is why illustrations and charts are very important in a learning environment.
We use charts and interactive resources to help our students learn extra things that are not mentioned in class or to improve the knowledge of things learned in class.
You could also try this in your child's bedroom
Usoolul-Iman Tahfeez School Usoolul-Iman Madrasah

Interesting, right? When a child makes a mistake while learning and they are corrected, they’re likely to remember better.
This is because making and correcting mistakes makes a child pay more attention to that particular case. This, in turn, facilitates better learning.
So parents when your child makes a mistake, do not scream at them. Help them realize the mistake and guide them to the correction.

Yes! Reading for as little as 6 minutes can reduce stress by as much as 68%!
This was discovered from a 2009 University of Sussex research.
Reading was found to work “better and faster than other relaxation methods, such as listening to music or drinking a hot cup of tea.”
Amazing, isn’t it!?

Kindness & love are marks of faith. Without the true and sincere love for the other person, our faith will still be lacking.
Shaitan makes us afraid of being “overcome“ by others. But Allah loves those who do not just want good for themselves, but also want it for their brethren in faith.
Show love and genuine empathy, it is a religious obligation.

When looking for where to draw inspiration, our children do not have to look outside Islam to find one.

Islam has been blessed with great figures that completely changed the landscape of the world with their impact.

Our goal at Usoolul Iman is to nurture individuals that will go ahead and create amazing contributions to the world

Play is not the opposite of learning, it is a part of it!
Play and fun helps children build upon the things they learn in class.
Asides this, the wonders that happen on the playground are nothing short of amazing!
Bonds are formed, friendships are made, and life skills are learnt.
We have carefully integrated fun and play into the school curriculum to help our learners develop holistically.

Every single thing that we “own“ and enjoy is from Allah. Down to the very grain we put in our mouths.
The life of a Muslim should be that of constant gratitude because we realize that our entire life is simply a combination of compounding favours.
Favours upon favours, from the One and Only, Allah.
Gratitude doesn’t just brightens your mood, it also brightens your life!
