JAMB update 2023.
JAMB cut off point is out (140 for Universities, 100 for Polytechnics and Colleges of Education)
Each University is at liberty to fix her cut off point which should not be less than 140.
UNIUYO 2023 cut off point is not yet out. Last year it was 140.
The School General cut off point is not a guarantee for admission. Each department has its own cut off point depending on the performance of Aspirants applying for that course and NUC quota. For example, UNIUYO NUC quota for Medicine and Surgery is 120. Which means 120 best Aspirants will be considered out of over 2,000 that'll be applying for medicine. Ranking method will then be used to ascertain the best. From the highest scorer to the 120th best scorer.
Other factors for Admission includes:
Educational less developed States. Aspirants from these States are giving special consideration.
Direct Entry: Some slot will be allocated to Direct Entry Aspirants Especially Aspirants from JUPEB.
Aspirants must do the following:
Upload O-level Results to JAMB CAPS as awaiting result is not allowed.
Uploading A-LEVEL results to JAMB CAPS ( For Direct Entry Aspirants)
Link your email address to JAMB profile
Purchase School Screening form when it's out.
