The last dissemination meetings of the year held with the Medical Officer for Health (MOH) and the LGA team for Epe and Shomolu were a success.

We discussed the progress we have made with our MIYCN advocacy, community participation, interpersonal communication , food demonstration classes, mass media campaigns, and data reporting.

We are excited to extend our Maternal, Infant, and Young Child Nutrition (MIYCN) project to other LGAs and can’t wait to start engaging with the key stakeholders!

There is ABILITY in every DISABILITY πŸ«ΆπŸ’œ

No one with disability is limited from enjoying everything life has to offer.

We should only see diversity in everyone, not a difference that diminish their values. Avoid stigmatisation, spread love, and empower the differences.

Happy International Day of persons with disabilities!

Did you know that Polio is a life-threatening disease caused by the poliovirus!???.

I bet you also didn’t know that 2 and 10 out of 100 people who have paralysis from poliovirus infection die, because the virus affects the muscles that help them breathe.

Global efforts around the world is centered on eradicating polio and we are side by side with everyone on the 24th of October every year to raise awareness of the importance of polio vaccination to protect every child from this devastating disease.

To ensure a polio-free future for everyone, efforts must continue to maintain high immunization coverage, implement high-quality surveillance to detect any presence of the virus, and prepare to respond in the event of an outbreak.
