For the Muslims, bear in mind that:

1. If you hold a bottle of water or soft drink, and dare to think that it could have been a bottle of liquor or intoxicants, and you even staggered as though you are drunk, it is written that you consumed intoxicants.

2. If you’re going to a place to commit any form of evil, to meet with a girlfriend in a hotel for example, and there is a serious hold up and you could not drive pass, thus you made a turn back home, it is written that you committed the act.

3. If you intend to go sleep with your babe, and circumstantially, you met your wife in the same room, and by another circumstance, the room was dark and you couldn’t identify that it was your wife, and you made out with her thinking it was your girlfriend, it is written as Zina for you.

4. If you’re on the sickbed, and you’re wishing you were/are healthy so you could join an evil that was/is going on, it is written for you that you were/are in the act.

5. In a similar scenario to number 3, if you’re having a lawful sexual relationship with your wife, and from the beginning of the act till the end of it, you have your babe or girlfriend in your brain, as though she is the one you’re making out with, it’s written as Zina for you.

The only reason that can make you intend to do evil and it’s not written against you is if you stopped the evil because you were suddenly struck by the fear of Allāh. If the reason you couldn’t do it was just circumstantial, it’s written as though you did.

This is how intention works for, or against a Muslim.

Let’s beware of the acts we engage in because if you die in it, you would be resurrected upon it, and it is worst if the act upon which you died is even shirk.

Ótilo!

Allāh may choose to forgive other sins, but He says not shirk.
