The aim of DHAN is to promote digital methods in Humanities scholarship within trans-, cross- and interdisciplinary frameworks.
Some people believe that it is not ideal for academics to take positions on political issues because they will use the office of trust to brainwash their subjects and drag them along the path they thought was correct. Others believe that academics have the moral duty to use their wealth of knowledge in guiding society towards making valid value judgements when it comes to political issues. How then do we ascertain the politically correct ideology? Should academics just keep their sentiments and subjective stance to themselves as matters of private concerns. Join us on Saturday, 19th February 2022 at ARN Webinar featuring: Prof. Emmanuel Remi Aiyede, HOD, Department of Political Science, University of Ibadan, Nigeria; and Asst. Professor Joan Ricart-Huguet, Loyola University Maryland; also at Yale University, USA. Registration Link:
