This year's International Women’s Day was indeed a memorable one. Last Friday, March 8, our Tribe’s women celebrated by coming together and extending love to women in our community.

The event focused on the importance of investing in women to accelerate progress within AGL and beyond.

Our GMD/CEO, Seun Oni emphasized the significance of self-reflection and personal growth, urging everyone to envision the person they aspire to be and to continuously work towards that ideal.

Seun highlighted the uniqueness of each individual, reminding us that contrary to the popular saying that "no one is irreplaceable", she will extend that differently and say - while no one may be irreplaceable "BUT no one is YOU" Each person possesses qualities and contributions that are entirely their own. She encouraged the women to nurture their individual legacies, brands, stories, and footprints, reinforcing the importance of self-empowerment and self-awareness.

Following the empowering discussions, our Tribe's women embarked on a meaningful outreach to the widows in the Apapa community, spreading joy and warmth through acts of kindness. Witnessing the smiles on their faces reaffirmed the power of solidarity and compassion.

Women are incredible leaders, innovators, nurturers, and change-makers.
