I mean, there was this girl I got talking to some couple of months back from this our Blue App here .

Cute girl and all, she seemed like someone I could want to get involved with. ☺

We talked about our past relationships and all that, asked her about her last relationship, she said she had a bitter break up with her ex bf for about a year now.

Anyway, fast forward to the three occasions I got to meet up with her. This babe would always get a call from that same ex bf, and they would be talking fondly like say no be the same ex bf you tell me say break your heart bitterly. ☺

At first i didn't even know it was the ex bf, I just felt it was some other guy that she knew maybe from childhood or something, not until I stylishly asked her who this guy was wey dey always disturb you like this, then she now was like "oh, it's Seun o, that my ex bf I told you about"... Ooops. 😳😕😶

I noticed the pattern, even when we spoke on the phone once in a while, she would unconsciously chip it in that her ex bf and her talked about something something... Lol.. I would just smile.

Well as a sharp guy, that was all the signs I needed to not push it pass the friendly stage we were at. After some weeks, she asked me why I didn't want to ask her out, seeing that we seemed good together and vibed pretty ok. Me I sha told her, I wasn't ready for a relationship, that I was battling some inner demons. 😂 But all that was a ruse. I no get energy to dey explain to an adult how still keeping in CONSTANT touch with someone you call an ex bf, would obviously throw off a potential bf. Mba, no be me.
