Just imagine a human figure standing in a hall way, bent with crooked knees, enshrouded in darkness as we see smoke exudes from behind him. In photography that could be the worst shot ever "Why would my subject be engulfed in shadows with no proper lighting to make him clearly visible?" someone would say😀🤓
But CINEMATOGRAPHICALLY, it could lead into other shots that could reveal our subject with the camera zooming close on him on a steady cam or dolly as light flickers in the hall way, illuminating the room in an unpredictable pattern. We zoom tight on our subject's face and light flickers again, it's a ghostly creature with rotting and shambling face, his body or skin discolored. It makes an horrible noise .
Calm down, I know you are beginning to enjoy that, but I'm not here to tell a story, I'm only here to tell you that cinematography does it better, the telling of your story, we do it better at LUCEO STUDIOS
