Today, at the Fatimoh Mosque at Opo-malu in Ilorin where I observed Juma'at Prayer, I met with Ayomide Femi a devoted Christian and energetic youth.

He's a furniture precisely, without decadent from the message I want to pass, Islam and Christianity are religions that preach and embraces tolerance.

Ayomide was at his working place earlier today where he's making some light textures when I got to the praying ground, I noticed one thing about him.

Ayomide stopped hammering when he observed that the Muadhan called to prayer he stopped what he was doing and relaxed on the table.

After the prayer, I rushed to him (Hello) My name is Abdus'samad but fondly known as YOLO OF KWARA, he replied jokingly, I am Ayomide.

I noticed that you stopped working when we were praying to avoid the noise but you didn't join the congregations, why? He replied delightedly, I am a Christian.

I was astonished with his reply, Wow! You are a Christian?

That immediately triggered me to embrace him.

After the introduction, we had some educative discussion, aftermath I requested a photograph and he said no problem.

Ayomide Oluwafe is now my new friend.

Please let's celebrate this guy as he stopped working in other not to distract the attention of Muslims while praying.

Nigerian Pastor beaten by church members in South Africa for using church's money to buy his wife a car.

Pastor Johnson Adeleke used the money that was in the church's bank account to buy a gift for his wife's birthday. The church members became angry and attacked the pastor on Sunday immediately when he arrived at church.

Police are investigating a case of assault with intention to cause bodily grievously harm.

Muslims in the south west overlook alot of indiscretion/intolerance done by non muslims.

This is why I understand when non muslims don't believe or understand that claim- It's because we look away.

I am posting this here to share one of many things that would go unnoticed and unrecorded.

In a common entrance exam in Lagos state, what's the need to ask about Paul's birthplace when Paul is a Christian figure.

There should be no IRK/CRK based questions in general paper.

This is minus one mark for muslims already.

When the pupils came out of the exam hall, we were looking through the questions together and one asked "ehen, who is Paul?" Me "according to biblical stories, he is a disciple of Jesus"

The child just flipped it and continued with other questions.

That's how many of us as adult muslims in the south west flip these things and let them slide.

It is the few things that matter to us the most that we don't allow to be flipped.

Just saying.

Daddy Freeze Mocks Pastor Adeboye Over His Failed Prophecy As Dollar Rises To N710

Controversial Media personality, Daddy Freeze has taken a dig at foremost religious leader, Pastor E. A Adeboye, the General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God.

Nigerians were left devasted and furious at the increase in dollars from 600plus to N710.

As many celebrities took to their social media pages to air their displeasure over the alarming increase in dollar rate, Daddy Freeze followed suit but in a different way.

The former Cool FM OAP shared an old tweet of the clergyman where he decreed that Naira will rise again.

On February 1st, 2016, Pastor Adeboye had taken to the micro-blogging platform to decree that the Naira will rise again.

He tweeted, “Either the IMF likes it or not I decree the Naira will rise again”.

Mockingly, Daddy Freeze noted how his decree was yet to manifest.

Sarcastically, Daddy Freeze stated that singer, Naira Marley will rise again only if he gets a new single.

“Naira Marley will definitely rise again…all he needs is a new single”.

This isn’t the first time Daddy Freeze is mocking a man of God.

Months back, Daddy Freeze made a mockery of the Senior Pastor of Citadel Global Community Church (CGCC), Tunde Bakare for being unable to secure any votes at the APC convention.

The clergyman who participated in the race for the presidential ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC) was left defeated as he scored zero votes.

His loss was announced after the sorting of balloting on Wednesday, June 8th after respective delegates had cast their votes.

Making a mockery of him, Daddy Freeze wondered how a pastor would use 100million to buy presidential form and yet couldn’t get a vote.

He questioned if true religion wasn’t our biggest problem.

“A pastor uses 100m to buy form and can’t get a vote and y’all say religion no he our problem?”.

She has a Christian Biblical name.

We talked at mini length.

In an Islamic Bank, she wasn't forced to wear hijab or change her name. She has to feed. She has to maintain her faith and cater for her family.

Muslims are the most tolerant beings on earth.

WHY I DENOUNCED CHRISTIANITY TO EMBRACE ISLAM By Haruna Normal Nwaeze

Being an Igbo man, It’s not easy being Muslim in Igbo community or where majority are Christians because of the long time misconceptions, lies & propaganda against Islam,
but my choice was a spiritual transformation & innate feelings to serve & worship my Creator in the most purest ways.

By God will, I was born into a very strong Christian home. Later in 1996, when Anglican church approved the wedding of same s*x in most European countries, I was shocked & couldn't believe how this abomination could happen. As i became independent as a man, I began to question some Christian doctrines of different denominations which became offensive to my pastors & fellow Christians, who started calling me Antichrist for questioning the church.

When I tried to understand the logic of 3 God in one, the killing of Jesus by God to save mankind from Satan, Jesus being God, & many unimaginable beliefs I was taught as a child, no better explanation rather I was told never to question the Bible or church.
On 14th of June 2014, the light of God sparked on me & on that faithful day, I got the courage to sit down with a Muslim to question him about some negative thoughts I have about Islam, such as - why do Muslims not believe in God, why do Muslims not believe in Jesus, why do Muslims believe in killing, why do Muslims worship sun/Moon, why do Muslims worship Muhammad, etc
To my surprise, all the answers was not what I expected. But I disagreed, accusing the Muslim of lying or hiding their beliefs. From that that I decided to purchase some Islamic texts and English Qur'an to verify and research by myself.
Finally, I came to find out that all (100%+) of what I've been hearing about Islam are not true. Finally, I made it & embraced Islam - the True Religion of God, Alhamdulilah.

As we know, Many people are born into their religion. For them it is mostly a matter of legacy & convenience. Their belief is based on faith,

The actress/evangelist asked why people who are engaged should not be allowed to have s*x.

Nollywood star and evangelist, Eucharia Anunobi has lashed out at those against premarital s*x.

She wondered why people who are engaged shouldn't be allowed to have s*x.

"The proponent of this wicked agenda of 'no s*x before marriage' must be completely out of their minds," she said in a video shared to Instagram.

CHANNELS TELEVISION

Since the inception of this television station I have not seen a single Muslim Anchoring any program or even casting any news. Does it mean there are no Muslim Journalists? Or channels belongs to a particular sect of the society?

I also noticed every morning the station airs a Bible study program called turning point(which I personally enjoy and learn a lot from ), It also has similar program at exactly 6to7pm before politics today. Not a single Muslim program has earned such favor from this TV station. One can argue and say they are all sponsored, but hey we all know there is more to it than just being Sponsored.

At least AIT shows some compassion by airing the Adhan (call for prayer).

My question is does this TV Chanel’s has any Moral right to question the Muslim-Muslim ticket by the APC? When most of its staff are Christian and programs skewed to favor one religion.

With all this, Nobody called it a Christian Chanel, nor did anybody complain about the members of staff being predominantly Christians.
What Nigerians see is a group of Brilliant news Anchors and reporters who are good at their Jobs, with no sentiments attached to it.

If Tinibu and Kashim shetima can take Nigeria to the promise land so be it. But Channels has no moral obligation to question a Muslim-Muslim ticket or even a Christian-Christian ticket. It should first clean it’s own house first.

PASTOR CONVERTED TO ISLAM AND CONVERTS CHURCH TO MOSQUE: Adekunle Afolabi, a Pastor embraced Islam and converted the church into a Mosque.

He said "All church members left me the day I invited an Imam to come and preach in my church. My wife also opposed me. She said she would divorce me, I said it is okay I don’t want to die as a Christian. But later she discovered that we haven’t been worshiping any idol but only God. She came back and accepted Islam and my children are supporting me and have joined me.

I had 150 members in church but they have all left. My church was converted to Mosque and Muslims are attending. An Imam is currently running the mosque while I am learning Islam.

No matter your respect for the anointing on any man, don't worship them. It is good you know the Bible yourself and also have the spirit of God, therwise fake people who parades themselves as men of God will take advantage of you.

Don't forget Jesus said false prophets shall arise, and deceive many.

Hijab: Lawyer Wears Pastoral Robe To Court In Anambra

A mild drama took place at the Okpoko magistrate court in Ogbaru Local Government Area, near Onitsha, Anambra State, on Thursday, when proceedings were disrupted as a lawyer, identified as Ogbachalu Goshen, appeared in court dressed in full priest robes, looking like a reverend.

The court proceedings, presided by Her Worship CB Mbaegbu, were on until a matter was called up and Goshen announced his appearance as a defence counsel.

When the Magistrate told him he cannot appear and address the court in that regalia, he objected, citing the recent Supreme Court judgement that gave female students the backing to wear hijab in public schools as a precedent.

As the Magistrate stood her ground that he cannot appear in her court in that mode of dressing, Goshen also insisted that it was his right and that the objection by the Magistrate was an infringement on his fundamental rights as enshrined in Section 38 of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

As the arguments continued with both the Magistrate and the lawyer refusing to shift ground, the Magistrate rose, thereby forcing the court to dismiss immediately.

Various lawyers and people who came for different matters filed outside as the Magistrate immediately entered her car and drove off.

But in an interview, Goshen justified his actions and said that the incident had already become a constitutional matter since the Supreme Court made such a ruling.

He said the court should also answer what will happen when a female Muslim lawyer enters the court in her hijab.

He said that he is an ordained pastor and should also be allowed to appear that way in court since the Supreme Court has decided.

Asked whether the ruling is in the best interest of the judiciary, he said that for now, it remains a precedent that must be obeyed unless there is a judicial review.
