Hello there, are you ready for this?
Do well to follow my page and hit me up for more detais.
Thanks!
To teach children, you must first love them.
Every teacher was once a student!
I KNOW YOU LOVE THE ME YOU SEE NOW!
This is not a pity story, nah! please do not pity me because I am LIVING and not just SURVIVING.
I remember that morning I received the call, "NK mummy is gone o"ππππ, I said you should not pity me right? but I'm crying typing this.
Immediately I recieved the news I was running out of the house where I was squatting with my girlfriend Mine Noble (I owe you sis, I cannot forget all your help and support in this life). I'm super grateful that Mine was with me that morning, who knows? I would have ran out NAKED bare footed just to get to the hospital where my Queen Mother was lying lifelessππππ. Ok! I promise not to get too emotional with this.
..wipes tears...
Few months before mum's death, we had talked about alot of things and how she intended to support me to further my education (so that girl pikin wey Grace born go be graduate). She was my FULL OPTION SUPPORT SYSTEM!
kaiii!!!
..fast forward to life without a mother...
I started leaving the motherless life(I had my elder sister Nnadi Ginikachi Annasthesia but you know MAMA na MAMA. I love you so much sisβ₯οΈ
I was in the midst of brokeness, depression, anxiety and FEAR OF THE UNKNOWN. I used to think I was a strong gehπ€£π€£π€£π€£, life humbled me.
God used my friends(because jobless at that time) to rent me a 48k houseπ€£π€£π€£. My sister can attest to how the roof was almost falling on my head. In that small one room that rain will fall and cover more than half part of the house, Mine love, you know naπ€£π€£π€£π€£. Chai! Atleast I had a roof over my head naπ€£π€£π€£. Let us not talk about the hunger part, God be praised. If I no die then ehhhhh! One cup of garri I'll manage to drink it for three days without sugar. God abeg oooo!!!
I don't want to talk about the day I attempted SU***DE because hunger pangs almost k!led me. That was how God used my neighbour to knock on my door that night. Na wa ooo! He still had his eyes on me all through π.
Shebi you are admiring me now!
You have not heard HALF of the story o
Was it how I almost made mistake with wanting to marry a man 14years older than me because I needed comfort? thank you Jesus for using my sister Annasthesia to deliver me o, Hiaaaaaaaa! See how I would have missed my Sweet husband.
Back to the story
One day I stumbled on a training flier tagged, DISCOVERING YOUR PURPOSE.
God knows I needed that class because my life was in CHAOS.
I didn't have the money then but I know I needed that training badly so I BEGGED(even if this is something I find hard to do, I had to do it).
THAT CLASS CHANGED MY LIFE FOR GOOD!
If I had not stumbled on that class, you will have not been admiring this ME y'all are enjoying now, which is why after much consideration and based on most of you who have reached out to Ms. Stephanie with the question, HOW DO I KNOW WHAT I REALLY WANT, I decided to partner with one of the most sought after CLARITY coaches Chijioke Otikpa to bring you this amazing conference.
I cannot wait for the testimony that will SPROUT OUT of this conference.
The Venue is a closed WhatsApp group.

Dear young teacher and person, seeking to gain CLARITY is one good thing you can ever do for yourself.
Something hoooooooooooge is coming!
This is SOLELY my style, teaching doesn't have one method, so you can do your own the way you want in your classroom, maka ndi I TOO KNOWπ.
Ok! So yesterday I made a post about not just making children count from 1 to 5000 but to also make sure they know the properties of the numbers being counted. Some people reached out to ask me what properties of numbers are.
So here we go!
In my class, the expected target for my PRE-K babies is counting number 1 to 30 even if we DO NOT limit those who are ready to count even up to 50 or 100 because we actually have children who count up to that.
When you hear a person say, "this school has a great EARLY YEARS START" like parents always say about the school where I work. It is because through training and development, we have learnt what these babies need to build the BLOCK of their early foundation stage.
So, here is what I mean,
As an early years teacher, the children in your class can count, I agree but I tell you that if I tell them to match numbers to pebbles, they may not be able to count and even know that the property of number 1 is one pebble.
E.g
1= o
2= oo
3=ooo
4=oooo
Then you can move them to matching numbers to quantity(this will help you know if the child really understood what was taught). Mind you this can come in after one week of them mastering that 1 contains one pebble.
So, you go on to introduce them to
1 oooo
2 ooo
3 oo
4 o
When you prompt them to match, this way you are gradually building their maths sense for numbers and how it works. They are also able to see that number 1 contains less pebbles than number 2 therefore number 2 is bigger than number one. This way when they begin to do numbers that come before and after, it will be easy for them to place it.
Feel free to share your style. Like I said this is mine.
Love,
π

Dear Adult,
Please, when a child taps you, drop everything you are doing and give them your undivided attention. This way you are also reinforcing to them that it is good to give people their undivided attention when they are talking to you.
So guys, today, Kelachi told Ms Juliet, "Oh! you disturbing my poo time" because the innocent teacher barged into her when she was doing her businessπ€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£.
These two year old babies will not bring my leg out in this work oπ€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£.
I'm just imagining my parents asking my Pre-K babies when they see their report, "Emery, why did you get two in p**p?, did I send you to school to p**p for me?"ππππ "Teo, why did you get three in eating bread and tea?" π€£π€£, "Colette, why did you get two in grabbing teacher's nipples?"πππππ. Abeg, you be calming down o.
How else did you think they will be graded?πππ
Just relax oπππππ.
All ye pre-school teachers that give pre-schoolers exams to write, what are they writing bikonu?ππππππππ
Dear teacher, as you teach,please do well to use the PAUSE and THINK strategy. What this means is that, when you teach and require feedback, it is important that you allow your learners think through, reflect and then produce the answer. Don't ask a child a question, while they are still trying to think through, you IMPATIENTLY tell them to sit down while you call on another child who is ready with the answer.
These are some of the little mistakes teachers make that makes our learners feel like we do not VALUE them.
PLEASE JUST TRY AND HELP YOURSELF!
So, my girlfriend called me and was very furious that her son's class teacher gave him an F9 in his result. This is a THREE YEAR OLD CHILD that is still trying to understand things going on around him ooo. She said her husband told her to speak with me first before taking any action.
Imagine grading a child F9 in a nursery one class. Ha! Na wa ooooo!
What will happen when the boy writes WAEC and enters university, biko nu?
The teacher was even saying, "James(not real name), needs to be serious and pay more attention in class". God abeg ooo!!! For a THREE YEAR OLD CHILD?!
I eventually calmed her down because she was threatening to pull James child from the school. Her major concern was, how he will grow up to see that kind of result and the effect it will have on his self esteem.
I adviced that she meets and discuss with the proprietress of the school first before taking any action.
Plus, you are asking a child of THREE YEARS OLD abstract questions without pictures.
Dear teacher,I thought we know this simple basic thing na, abi I shu organize training for this wan kwa?
I was upset when she told me but I had to be calm so that she will not get more furious.
Please, it is not fair on a child. If you need to learn how to write professional report for your pupils, please do!
I think I need to plan something as regards this. Hopefully, very soon.
Abeg make we dey do well for this profession make these parents no lose confidence in us, abeg?
Teacher Uduak, shebi you have heard me now?
Love,
