A COOL IN A POOL

It was a hands on authentic experience for Topnotch pupils as they got immersed in different valuable experiencial learning opportunities whilst still catching their breath.

We constantly help our learners connect classroom concepts to the real world experience.

Working with a certified swimming coach, each pupil had a go learning different swimming techniques. They explored the swimming rules and regulations whilst taking turn to shower, dive and get comfortable in the water.

Floating on water was their biggest catch.
Come on guys let's float!!!!!!
They practiced floating on their stomach and on their back. ...

Next, Let's learn to kick yelled the coach.
Once you're comfortable in the water and floating, get a kickboard and practice kicking, still in relatively shallow area.

Add arms!!!!!
Let's go on continued the instructor.
And soooo..... high was the vibe and momentum as each pupil swam in ecstasy.

Over the weekend, we took a trip to the finest art gallery in Port Harcourt for an exhibition to explore the beauty and experience the therapeutic nature of art in a most serene atmosphere.

Our pupils explored different artistic styles, mediums, and concepts ranging from spoken words,painting to sculpting while expanding their artistic horizons and inspiring their own artistic journeys.

The theme ENGRAVED captured the dairy of an average Nigerian male living and thriving in a dysfunctional society, all in a bit to shine a light on his battles, stories, thoughts and dreams. Every stroke of the exhibitors brush carried these messages vividly and each canvas told its own story.

Witnessing how people transform their cogitations and emotions into beautiful artistic master piece.... highlights the educative and transformative power of art.

As a school, we educate our learners to make the grade not just in class but in life. For us teaching is assisting discovery, we stimulate the minds of our learners for critical thinking, so they can discover, develop and deploy their God given purpose and potentials.

No matter the situation we find ourselves, we can always change the narrative.

"What Can You Create?"

The pupils knowledge of Scratch programming were assesed.

During this session, they brought a ball to life through code-based animation and also animated a bear.

The objective behind the bear animation project was to foster creativity. It allowed the pupils to customize their bear's appearance, behaviour, and surroundings, laying a foundation for interactive storytelling and game development.
