A sister texted "...I can't read the Qur'an..."

As a person willing to learn, you would have expected her to jump at the offer and utilize it as much as she can.

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakaatuh

We pray that you are well, in good Emaan and that Allah Ta’ala allows you to reach Laylatul-Qadr with success. Tonight, being the 27Th night of Ramadan is the night that the majority of scholars view most likely to be Laylatul Qadr.

Al-Haafidh Ibn Hajr رحمه الله said: “The strongest opinion is that it is on an odd night in the last ten nights and that it constantly changes…..”. He continues to say : “… in the view of the majority is that the most likely (night) is the twenty-seventh night, and the evidences for that have preceded”. (Fathul-Baaree 4/267).

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“مَن قَامَ لَيْلَةَ القَدْرِ إيمَانًا واحْتِسَابًا، غُفِرَ له ما تَقَدَّمَ مِن ذَنْبِهِ”

“Whosoever performs Qiyam (Night prayer) during Laylatul-Qadr, with Faith and being hopeful of Allah’s reward, will have his former sins forgiven.”

Frequently repeat the authentic supplication [At-Tirmidhi] :

When we supplicate to Allaah to grant us jannah, we may sometimes forget to seek refuge against jahannam.

The torment of jahannam has a higher degree of torture than any pain in this dunya.

Al-Haqqah 69:25

وَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِىَ كِتَٰبَهُۥ بِشِمَالِهِۦ فَيَقُولُ يَٰلَيْتَنِى لَمْ أُوتَ كِتَٰبِيَهْ

But as for he who is given his record in his left hand, he will say, "Oh, I wish I had not been given my record"

As for those given their record in their left hand, they'll regret and wish they had not been given their record at all.
However, the promise of our Lord (the day of recompense) shall come to pass.

This life is more like an investment for what you'll enjoy or suffer in the hereafter.
You get to decide if you want to enjoy or suffer and you also have the ability to ask your Lord for Jannah.

Treat your days like they are the last.
Regret may be inevitable in the hereafter, however, there is difference between the regrets of a righteous believer and the regrets of a disbeliever.

Oh Allaah, grant us goodness in this world, goodness in the hereafter and save us from the torment of jahannam.

Aameen.

We are still in the month of Ramadhaan.
MAKE A POSITIVE CHANGE.

Forgiveness has always been an essential part of life.

We interact with people everyday.
And not just people, but those with "flaws".

Forgiveness shouldn't be expensive to get or give.
We are all imperfect and should forgive those that did us wrong.

Forgiveness is very important in the family.
Without it, a family could collapse.

Be forgiving.
Seek forgiveness.

Seeking knowledge is not just for the title.

Many benefits come with it.
You may not hear a knowledgeable one lament or hate themselves for their failures.
This is because they have always known that failure is an essential aspect of life.

Although, it is hated and preferably not an experience everyone wants.
However, without it, even the successful one may not be successful.

Brace up.
It's a new day of the week.
And it's a day in Ramadhaan.

May Almighty Allaah grant us ease in knowledge seeking.
