I know a lot of you are wondering what happened that we went MIA for almost a year or not.

All we can say is being an entrepreneur isn't child's play.
It takes more than talent, more than skill to get it right.
Skill and talent are things we possess but there was no proper planning. Yes, that was the very first issue we had.
We were excited about all we were doing so we lost sight of a few big things.
So while we were off here, we was doing the things we didn't think to do before now just to serve you better.

And so while we're back, we're also still working on being better for you.
On days, we want to get cold feet, we'll remember we have you cheering and supporting.

First off, happy new year to everyone, I've missed you guys so much on this space.

Secondly, I know I've been quiet about Sewfisticated for such a long time, I apologize.

I've just been trying to reform the brand in and out so I can be of better service to you this year.

Speaking of reformation, I've got good newwwssss!💃

I decided to keep the face of the brand simple, sleek and stylish, that's why the initial design has been changed to the one below.

Now this new design better communicates what the brand is all about, it's also going to help you understand and identify the brand at a glance.

With this, I would love to announce that Sewfisticated is officially back!

So keep your eyes on this space people, because throughout this year, you're going to be Sewtisfied...

TIPS FOR THE FAMOUS NINE TO FIVE WORKERS AND/OR INTERVIEWEES.

1. When in doubt, dress conservatively.
Be moderate. Conventional also works.

2. A suit (suit & tie for males) will suffice in most situations.
Not only is this professional, it's the standard.

3. Make sure your outfit is wrinkle-free.
Practice proper ironing.

4. Stick with solid colors and tighter-woven fabrics or simple patterns.
It's an office space, play safe.

5. Accessories should be kept simple: basic pumps, modest jewelry, light makeup and light perfume.

6. Wear a belt and a watch.

7. Be sure your hair is nearly trimmed or groomed.
Avoid messy looks.

8. Shirt with letterings or graphics should not be worn.
It's a workspace, not a circus.

9. Check your outfit for missing button, lint or crooked tie.

10. A skirt should be no shorter than the tips of your middle fingers.
Or it can be just above your knees for good measure.

THINGS TO LOOK OUT FOR WHEN SHOPPING AS A PETITE.

1. Armholes.
Be sure to check that the armholes don't expose your bras in the case of a sleeveless dress.

2. Shoulder Placement.
Make sure the top of your sleeves sits on the bony top of your shoulders, rather than drooping off the arm.

3. Neckline.
V-necks and scoop necks make you look taller.

4. Waistline.
If top and dresses have seams on the waistline, make sure it lines up with your waist.

5. Skirt hem.
Petite women look best with above-the-knee hemlines.

6. Shape.
Avoid anything too boxy or with loads of extra fabric, unless you can shape it with a belt.

7. Prints.
Don't be afraid, just seek out small motifs that won't overpower your frame.
