The event was also coloured by paper presentation on LEGISLATORS, LEGISLATION AND ENVIRONMENTAL GOVERNANCE IN AKWA IBOM STATE, delivered by Guest presenter Engr. Edenseting Benedict and brief charge by Hon. Commissioner for Environment,

The climax of this event was the Presentation of draft Bill for creation of department of environment in every Local Govt secretariat of AkS

The Dignitaries at the event include Commissioners for Environment, Labour /planning and Agriculture. Other personalities that attended the event were Chairman and vice Chairman Ikono L.G.A, Chairman and vice Chairman OrukAnam, other Vice CHAIRMEN. The presence of Ikot Ekpene Legislative Leader and other Legislative Leaders also grace the occasion.

All the Legislative Committee Chairmen on Environment from the 31 LGA and some other Councilors were present.
