Joke Elvis Shines with Penalty Save as Warri Wolves Draw Against Crown FC

Warri Wolves FC number one man on the post Joke Elvis has prooved why he remains number one for the Warri based side.

The Former J Atete Goalie who has kept two clean sheets from four in the 23/24 NNL Season was a hero in the 1-1 away draw against Crown FC on match day 5.

Joke who put up many saves to deprive the home side, faced the toughest challenge, two minutes added time in the first half when the home side was awarded a Penalty.

He however stopped what would have been the equaliser for the home side in the first half when he denied Ogunjobi Kamorudeen scoring chance from the penalty spot.

In a post match interview with the team's Media, Joke Elvis who put up a man of the match performance with Goal bound saves said he remains committed to giving his best for team growth as well as personal development.

"Most times in Penalty situations, I just try to give hundred percent concentration. Because unlike real match situation where you have your defenders, in penalties, its you and your adversary alone and you get take a decision"

"Am happy my effort turned out right and we got to share the points away from home"

"I look forward to improving individually and hope to continue an impressive outing, with supports from my team mates"

Joke was famous last season for Penalty saves as he made a save in his away debute for Warri Wolves FC against Calabar Rovers FC before making two penalty saves to send Shooting Stars out of the federation cup in the round of 32 last season.

He mounted the goal post for Warri Wolves FC in the state FA cup Quarter Final, Semi Final and the Final without conceding a goal and kept straight 6 clean sheets in eight outings in all competitions, last Season.

New Boy Terry Makes his Debute For Wolves

Says he is Excited to be part of Goal build-up!

New boy Benedict Daki Seibi, aka Terry says he is excited to make his Debute with the Seasiders Warri Wolves Fc on a matchday 5 away fixture against Crown FC of Ogbomoso.

The Central Defender who assumed the role of a defensive midfielder from the right wing back on his debut with the Warri based side said it was an opportunity he looked forward to and is excited he made an impact in the build up that led to the only goal his side scored to gain first away point for the season.

Terry had connected with Emmanuel Bakare on a Corner kick before making a super cross to locate Festus Ingo who then made the assist with a head flick to help forward Christain Izuchukwu launch the only goal from the Seasiders to lead the home side and finally shared the spoils with the home side.

"It is a very exciting moment for me. I have always made the team list but anxiously looked forward to when I will eventually make the starting ix"

"Am grateful to the Technical crew who believes in me and my wonderful team mates who were very supportive on the picth"

" I think we got the result because we worked as a team. With that corner kick opportunity, we played to the instruction from the coach and decided to build up the move. I saw that Festus was well positioned and made that cross and he made that head flick to Izuchukwu and that was the goal"

"Am very happy it happened on my debute and I hope for better days ahead."

The Former OYC football club player who joined Warri Wolves FC this season said his Target is to work with the aspiration of the Seasiders to gain promotion to the NIgeria Premier Football League.
