Business doesn’t mean meetings and trainings all the time. There’s also fun and sensible talks about life and the in-betweens. 🗣️🎙️

We build relationships by means of conversations and discussions whereby we learn and understand each other, and share moments to foster a positive work culture.

The business strategy should extend beyond acquiring new customers to include referrals and repeat business. By building customer loyalty and encouraging word-of-mouth referrals, the company taps into a broader market. This approach not only enhances the customer base but also boosts brand credibility. Having a comprehensive strategy that values both new and existing customers ensures sustained growth and a more resilient business model.

Work on improving your communication skills! Whether in your personal life or your career, learning how to communicate with others is essential to success and happiness in a relationship. Apart from obtaining facts, communication should deliver a way to gain some understanding into the heart and mind of another person. And good communication calls for translation. Really, you’re learning that other person’s language. We all use the same words, but we have unique languages. You need to learn their language without prior assumptions and incorrect projections weighing you down. Such interpersonal literacy will serve you well for years to come. Don’t be fearful of checking terms and comparing definitions. Lasting happiness doesn’t come from owning things, it comes from having good relationships and it’s well worth the investment!

Never stop learning! We've the capacity to keep learning until the day we die, which is something we shouldn’t take for granted. The average brain weighs approximately three pounds, yet neurologists approximate that we have the ability to learn something new every second of every minute of every hour of every day for the next three hundred million years. Awesome, right? But it’s more than that. It’s an awesome obligation. It’s impossible to determine the percentage of our minds we use, but all of us have untapped potential. Your imagination is capable of considerably more than you can dream. Yet somewhere along the way, most of us stop living out of imagination and start living out of memory. We stop designing the future and start copying the past. And that is the day we cease living and begin dying. Why? Because we stop educating ourselves.

"Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice, and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.” - Edson Arantes do Nascimento (Pele).

Just be about the case. Show that you're not here to play. Mean business and take your job seriously. We have seen very few who are showing up to their vocation like this.💪🤝

Anytime you’re willing to listen to people and figure out how what you’re offering meets their needs, you are halfway towards your goal of finding common ground.

07/12/2023

Establishing areas of common interest takes time. It also takes effort. It’s been reported that today a typical business executive has an on-the-job attention span of six minutes. That’s pathetic! In six minutes a person can hardly get his or her feet on the ground, much less find common ground. Identifying areas you can agree on calls for empathy and a willingness to listen to what the other person has to say.

SHUT THE DOOR OF RELATIONSHIP GENTLY, YOU MAY NEED TO USE IT LATER!*

Friends, I put it to you today that relationship is a currency. Every man needs another man to move up and that man may be the neighbour you look down on, maybe the taxi driver you so despise or even the house help you think is a nobody today.

Relationship is a stream of income. Everything in life actually reproduces on the basis of relationship. Those we know in life matter. Most of us are talented but we need a cupbearer that will tell Pharaoh that there's a Joseph that can interpret dreams. We need our old school/course mates irrespective of their status today. Hook up with your class/course mates in the primary, secondary and tertiary schools alumni.

There are some heights you may never get to in life until someone tells someone about you even in church or mosque. Therefore, shut the door of relationships gently. You may need to use it tomorrow. Let us take our relationships seriously. Don't look down on anyone. You never can tell which of the relationships is your own key to success!

The Science of Kindness.

When you show kindness to the poor, your brain’s pleasure and reward centers light up, as if you were the recipient of the good deed.

In other words, engagement in humanitarian acts, trigger releases of oxytocin, occasionally referred to as the ‘love hormone’ which aids in lowering blood pressure, improving overall heart-health, increasing our self-esteem and optimism - necessary in coping with daily affairs of life.

All of these benefits money cannot buy. What to do is with you for free. Kindness seeds, always return as trees. Make this your creed and experience spree of bliss. Be humane.

Make kindness your vocation in your respective locations. Wise up and become a humanitarian!

SOME THAT MAY HELP YOU:

1. Don’t call someone more than twice continuously. If they don’t pick up your call, presume they have something important to attend to;

2. Return money that you have borrowed even before the person that lent it, remember or ask for it. It shows your integrity and character. Same goes with umbrellas, pens and lunch boxes.

3. Never order the expensive dish on the menu when someone is giving you a lunch/dinner.

4. Don’t ask awkward questions like ‘Oh so you aren’t married yet?’ Or ‘Don’t you have kids’ or ‘Why didn’t you buy a house?’ Or why don't you buy a car? For God’s sake, it isn’t your business;

5. Always open the door for the person coming behind you. It doesn’t matter if it is a guy or a girl, senior or junior. You don’t grow small by treating someone well in public; Remember to thank those who hold the door for you.

6. If you take a taxi with a friend and he/she pays now, try paying next time;

7. Respect different shades of opinions. Remember what's 6 to you will appear 9 to someone facing you. Besides, second opinion is good for an alternative;

8. Never interrupt people talking. Allow them to pour it out. As they say, hear them all and filter them all;

9. If you tease someone, and they don’t seem to enjoy it, stop it and never do it again. It encourages one to do more and it shows how appreciative you are;

10. Say “thank you” when someone is helping you. Including holding the door for you or giving you the chance to pass through a narrow way.

11. Praise publicly. Criticize privately;

12. There’s almost never a reason to comment on someone’s weight. Just say, “You look fantastic.” If they want to talk about losing weight, they will;

13. When someone shows you a photo on their phone, don’t swipe left or right. You never know what’s next;

14. If a colleague tells you they have a doctors' appointment, don’t ask what it’s for, just say "I hope you’re okay". Don’t put them in the uncomfortable position of having to tell you their personal illness. If they want you to know, they'll do so without your inquisitiveness;

15. Treat the cleaner with the same respect as the CEO. Nobody is impressed at how rude you can treat someone below you but people will notice if you treat them with respect;

16. If a person is speaking directly to you, staring at your phone is rude; leave your phone and look at the person.

17. Never give advice until you’re asked;

18. When meeting someone after a long time, unless they want to talk about it, don’t ask them their age and salary;

19. Mind your business unless anything involves you directly - just stay out of it;

20. Remove your sunglasses if you are talking to anyone in the street. It is a sign of respect. Moreso, eye contact is as important as your speech; and

21. Never talk about your riches in the midst of the poor. Similarly, don't talk about your children in the midst of the barren.

22.After reading a good message try to say "Thanks for the message".

APPRECIATION remains the easiest way of getting what you don't have....
