Tokyo Greens is the salad thatā€™s serving nearly every dietary preference. Itā€™s base is gluten free and vegan-friendly, but it pairs deliciously with egg, salmon or chicken as well.

This is how we started almost five years ago and now itā€™s time to say goodbye to our first Oliver Green store.

We want to expand our brand to something bigger and with the opening of our new store in Zuid weā€™ve chosen to provide a different experience than we can offer in our east location.

Therefore we made the decision to close down this location by the end of this week.

We would like to thank all of our customers and fans. So many of you have supported us from day one and are still regulars. We hope to see you soon in our West or Zuid location.

Most of our bowls are vegetarian or vegan but you can choose your protein of choice. Ask our team for the best combinations!

We are not lying if we say home-made. We make our own Cacao Granola and Almond Butter in our own kitchen. Cacao granola is made with raw cacao powder, gluten free oats AND nut free. Almond butter is just roasted almonds blended in our professional mixer for about 30 minutes.

At Oliver Green we like to experiment with different flavors and the not-so-standard combinations. Each dish has health benefits and this Tokyo Greens salad in particularly is good for the gut. Kale and spinach are full of fiber like the other green veggies that are represented in this salad. The Miso dressing gives that umami taste and the probiotics in miso may help strengthen your gut flora. Personalize your salad by choosing your favorite protein source. Our favorites are egg, tofu or salmon.

Adaptogens are backā€¦

Four years ago we had lost of smoothies with superfoods like maca and lucuma, but also smoothies with adaptogens like ashwaganda and reishi. We might have been a bit too early, because we had lots of explaining to do and our customers rather ordered the smoothies without them.

However, we donā€™t give up that easily. We are introducing more menu items with adaptogens back into our menu. The first one that weā€™l introduce is the CALMING CACAO SMOOTHIE.

Omega 3 draagt bij aan de gezondheid van je hart en bloedvaten, maar is ook belangrijk voor de ontwikkeling en het behoud van een gezond brein. Omega 3 werkt onstekingsremmend. De tegenhanger van omega 3 is een ontstekings bevorderaar: omega 6. Je hebt nog steeds omega 6 nodig, maar de balans moet goed zijn.

In ons huidige dieet, met veel voorverpakte en bewerkte voeding krijgen we wel 4 tot 5 keer meer omega 6 binnen dan goed voor ons is.
Een disbalans tussen omega 6 en omega 3 kan bijdragen aan teveel ontstekingsactiviteit in het lichaam, wat mogelijk het risico op ziektes verhoogt.
