Open!! 🎈 Although we have been up and running for a little while, we felt we needed both closure and a new beginning. So we decided to throw three days of festivities after the building was finished and the windows were painted. 🎉And the last three days could not have been be more perfect! What an opening weekend we’ve had! Some highlights ✨

Loeki’s competition coffee, roasted and tested! ☕️
On the 9th of January Loeki is competing in the finals of the Dutch Barista Championships with this micro lot coffee. We’re keeping the origin and flavours a secret for now but at our reopening you can taste this beauty! For the opening of BLUEY’S we have vacumated and frozen a batch of green coffee so it’s fresh for everyone to try 🤩

What’s next?

Yesterday we ran into one of our local customers, who told us that people are losing a bit of hope of us coming back. We’d like to assure you once again, we are still doing everything we can to bring BLUEY’S back!

We’re in the final stages of wrapping up insurance and in the mean time we are both working full time elsewhere. This is why we may have been a bit silent. But in the mean time we have started on some recovery work such as plumbing, electrics and.. a second floor!

We’ve created a new interior plan. Colorful and welcoming as ever.

Once the insurance funds will finally come through we will crack open some champaign and kick-start our reopening.
And expansion…
