Newly completed kitchen re-design for my Oud-Zuid project. The Kitchen is the undeniably the heart of a home, where family and friends gather to share meals, stories, and create lasting memories. It is a space that exudes warmth and comfort, and the design choices made in this area can greatly enhance its inviting ambiance. Colors and subtle finishes play a pivotal role in transforming a kitchen into a true sanctuary. Soft, neutral hues like creamy whites, or warm earth tones can create a serene backdrop, while pops of vibrant colors can inject energy and personality. Carefully chosen finished such as brushed metals or textured wallpaper, add depth and visual interest, elevating the overall aesthetic. These seemingly small details have the remarkable ability to breathe life into a kitchen, turning it into a space that not only nourishes the body but also the soul.

My Oud-Zuid bathroom renovation. Splitting the original narrow and outdated bathroom into two separate spaces is a great way to make the most of the available size and add value to your client’s home. These separate spaces have their own unique aesthetic creating a balance of both style and function. Small bathrooms don’t have to look and feel bland, make use of textured surfaces to add dimension and depth to your space. Adding color also creates a vibrant and engaging atmosphere that your clients can enjoy. Color has the power to influence our mood and behavior, so choosing the right hues for a space can make a big difference in how people feel when they are in it.

I designed a space for my clients kids where they can explore their creativity and play. I used a mixture of fun textures and subtle pops of color, a space that the whole family can enjoy for years to come

Every year since the pandemic started, my husband has been making these Christmas cards showing Santa on an adventure. So far he has made Santa on a bike delivering presents since we currently live in Amsterdam, and this year he’s a bit homesick so he made one of Santa driving a VW Microbus with a surfboard to represent California. I love these cards because they are personal to our lives and experiences. So excited to see where Santa ends up next year and the new adventures he’s on. Merry Christmas everyone and I wish for everyone to have an amazing New Year! #2022
