MESIS Project 👇➡️ Rome, first Capacity BuildingSession of the MESIS project➡️ Coaches, PE teachers, Youth workers from the 4 different project countries dove into Education Through Sport (ETS) and the Outsport method➡️ They attended workshops and exercises on the field from drawing to running, up to frisbee games and other physical activities➡️ The trainers team formed last summer inSofia shaped the program around the ETS golden rules:Clear learning objectives;Well selected physical activity/sport experience;Adequate debriefing.➡️ Education through sport is based on using experiential learning as part of Human Rights Education. It works on attitudes, skills and values. The Outsport method applied this“learning by doing” approach to LGBTQIA+ inclusion and SOGIESC issues.Stay tuned for the next ones in Ljubljana and Lisbon! 👀
And that’s a wrap for the EGLSF 2024 AGA! 😎On the last day of AGA, Sunday March 3rd, we went through the results on the different votes and presentations from #EuroGames EuroGames Vienna 2024 & Lyon 2025 EuroGames TeamsCardiff @pridesportscymru bid was elected to host the #EuroGames in 2027 🥳 Congratulations and thanks to EuroGames 2027 Munich for the hard work in this competition. We also presented the club anniversary certificates and members event and gave a farewell to Sarah Townsend who is stepping down from the EGLSF co-President position after 8 years. Thank you for all you’ve done! 🤗Finally, we had our AGA group photo 👯👯♀️👯♂️

René is a trans, non-binary bodybuilder from Vienna. He started going to the gym in 2016 and has never stopped since. In 2020 he became a personal trainer and online coach. Heidi is the Queer Representative of the State Sports Federation in North Rhine-Westphalia. When she was a child, she loved football and her gender was not an exclusion factor. But as she got older, she realised that being a girl unfortunately did matter. Over the past decades, Heidi has worked to ensure that everyone can play the sport they like, regardless of their gender or sexual orientation. Jayden is a trans and non-binary roller derby player from Austria. Jayden started coaching in 2016 in Graz, and joined the Vienna Roller Derby club in 2020. Jayden began their journey of self-discovery while being part of the roller derby community, and was able to explore their gender identity in the safer space the clubs offer.
