Baby Angel Geroldstr. 31 CH-8005 Zürich Open 18:30-21:30 For those of you not in Zürich: listen/order SZSHH here or find out more about it ➡️ escrec.bandcamp.com/album/szshh

Vincent Glanzmann - ___AS (video version) From the album SZSHH, which comes out on September 2nd. Pre-order now ➡ https://escrec.bandcamp.com/album/szshh Starting June 10th we release a series of successive short singles with artwork based graphic videos for each track on the SZSHH album, working up to the release date. The album will be presented on 2 September in Kunstenlab and De Perifeer, with solo shows by Vincent Glanzmann, Julian Sartorius, Tresque and Maaike Folmer ➡ https://perifeer.org/agenda/vincent-glanzmann-julian-sartorius-tresque-maaike-folmer/ --- Vincent Glanzmann is a sound artist and drummer based in Zürich Switzerland. The open nature of his work as both a performer and composer has led him to a multitude of collaborations with a broad spectrum of artists within contemporary music, visual arts, dance, fashion and literature. There is a curiosity and playfulness that distinguishes his concepts and contributions to the progressive music and sound art scene. His ceaseless creative energy and communicative way of playing often includes unique preparations and alternative techniques, which are flexible enough to find a home in many performance disciplines. Having been inspired by the artistic output of the dance choreographer Sasha Waltz from Berlin, Vincent created and produced SZSHH, his third solo percussion release as an homage to the artist. SZSHH could be thought of as an abstract form of dance music. Get the album here: https://escrec.bandcamp.com/album/szshh Different than Glanzmann's former release, Z/Rzw-Shiiiiiii, which consisted mostly of abstract, soundophile structures, the complex sonic terrain of SZSHH offers a joyous compositional interplay of distantly familiar rhythms and unexpected percussion sounds. --- Recorded in 2019 at Smokey's, Zurich (CH) Sound Engineer: Vincent Glanzmann Mixing: Vincent Glanzmann Meta-Mixing: Manuel Egger, Suburban Sound Studio Mastering: Rashad Becker Artwork: Dominik Huber and Vincent Glanzm

Vrijdag eindelijk Salmoni live in De Perifeer!

Booster Festival vandaag! Met ook een behoorlijk aantal Esc.rec. en Nieuwe Electronische Waar namen in de line-up, waaronder Nobuka, Bastian Benjamin, Wantigga, TEMO, Mallard Sound, Odaira, grens, Canvax, Vanta, Dawn Of A new World, DAEDRA, Robert Vosmeijer aka De Sluwe Vos...
