Join me in a journey of self-love
I did my very first ever photoshoot event!
I had no idea what to expect so I went in with an open mind. But it was even better than I could ever imagine π₯°
Amber Portfolio did an amazing job organizing the entire thing.
I met lovely models and photographers, but also met up with some friends I hadn't seen in a while or only met online.
The first results of that day came in pretty quickly and it really surprised me because the photographers probably have tons of pics to go trough and edit.
I don't have all the pictures yet but what I have this far is absolutely amazing.
Great start of 2024!
And I will be posting the results here in different posts so stay tuned π₯°

When it's time for date night with my hubby I always like to dress up.
This time I got to try on the super cute black sequin jumpsuit from XplusWear
It it so comfortable and even with all the sequins it doesn't itch at all!
Feel like a million dollars in this outfit, and look at that b***y π
This jumpsuit just accentuates all the right curves!
For a discount us my code CINDEL15 when ordering π₯°

The year 2023 is at its end...
And as most people do I like to look back at what has happend this past year.
Did things go as I intended? Are there things that I have learned from?
I wished I had done more photoshoot's this past year.
But somehow those I had planned mostly got canceled for different reasons.
Also I never imagined that my Covid from the year prior would still effect my health in such a big manner.
That is why my focus has been on improving my mental and physical health.
I have been following a lifestyle program the entire year and recently started new medication that finally are getting me the results I have dreamed of. More quality of life! (Including less pain wich I never thought possible)
2024 is going to be a year where I keep focusing on improving myself.
Hopefully do more photoshoot's because it is something I absolutely love to do and it makes me feel amazing!
Thank you to all that have supported me β€οΈ
And to those that love to gossip, keep talking because there will be so much more to talk about π€£
To those just hearing the gossip, you can always check with me because I have nothing to hide. Hopefully you will be able to come to your own conclusions π
So stay tuned for the next chapter of my life if you like π
Best wishes to all!

Finally dared to do something I wanted to do ever since I was a kid...
I went to a cosplay festival called Elfia.
As I kid I never dared to, I was scared of being bullied or ridiculed.
But I have the confidence now to do what I love, what I want.... and don't care about what other people think!
Took my kids with me to show them that it's OK te be unique and be yourself. And they loved it as much as I did π₯°

Now that my body is changing doing photoshoots can be a challenge.
I only have a few moments where I don't feel too much pain or have enough energie.
So I am experimenting more and more with phone photography.
I love the results of my black and white portraits.
Where there is a will, there is a way β€οΈ
Follow your dreams even if the road changes along the way.

It's so important to feel good in your own skin!
To feel comfortable in what you're wearing.
My incisional hernia leaves me with a painful bump on my belly. So I use shapewear sometimes to put pressure on it.
It reduces my pain and makes me feel more comfortable.
This is the Olivia Bodysuit by Bella Fit (Size 3xl-4xl)
Super comfortable and soft and I am definitely wearing it more often ππ»
If you want shapewear then go to www.bella-fit.nl/cindel and use code: CINDEL for 10% off your purchase!

Sometimes it feels like everything I do, everything I am, is being a mom.
I easy to forget that I'm also a women, lover, partner and so much more.
So doing photoshoots, inspiring others, going out with friends, taking me-time, actually planning other things can help me to not lose sight of myself.
Yesterday me and 2 of my amazing mom friends went out to dinner. Just so we could relax and enjoy something other than motherhood.
So a little advice to all of you, plan that time just for you. Because you are so much more than just a mom.
(And some might not be a mom but lose themselves in work or something else, same goes for you)

Doing my makeup feels like therapy π§πΌββοΈ
Sometimes I do my makeup just to spend some time on myself. And take it off not even 30 min after π
followed by my skin routine.
I guess it's my personal way to meditate and focus on self-love
What do you do to relax an take your me-time?
Xoxo
Let me tell you a secret π€«
Life is made of ups and downs. So sometimes you will feel like overthinking, feeling overwhelmed maybe even sad.
(Like i felt taking these pictures)
But it's ok and it will pass even if it takes time.
Doing things I love like taking pictures is what helpes me feel better in the end π
What is something you enjoy doing?
Big hugs to those who need it β€οΈ

Even with a disability you can travel in style!
It was really hard to accept I needed a mobility scooter.
Mentally it made me feel worthless and ashamed to ride around. Afraid people would judge me and being reminded every second of the ride that I am chronically ill.
But these days I wouldn't want to live without it! I will always be sick and feel pain. But my mobility scooter has given me a freedom that I felt was lost forever.
It makes sure I can save energy so that I can do other things like playing with my kids.
And honestly the response I get from people is very positive.
So no matter what tools you need to make it through the day, make sure you rock it and look fabulous!
Xoxo
The sun is shining and I decided to take a little break in our garden whilst my husband is playing with the kids.
The past few weeks have been a little rough on me. Lots of pain en tears.
But positivity has never left my side. Knowing that the sun will eventually break through those clouds.
Life is not a straight line, it comes with ups and downs.
How you deal with those curves is how you influence your quality of life.
When you feel down you can drown yourself in sadness and not notice you are on your way up.. Or... You can look up, see how close you are getting to that top and enjoy every little step you take forward!
On your top you can either worry about the way down not really enjoying how well it is going... Or... You can fully enjoy the moment and on your way down just hold on to the knowledge that you will rise eventually!
Like the curves on my body I have learned to love the curves of life. And yes it's normal to cry and be sad or mad sometimes. But don't let the bad things ruin your life when good things are on the way!
Love you all!

Super simple outfit but I feel cute today π₯°
It has been really long since I have been able to wear a pair of jeans without pain.
The lipodema on my legs was so sensitive that I couldn't stand the pressure and fabric on my legs.
Irritable Bowel Syndrome making pressure on my tummy unbearable.
Luckily now I have been feeling a bit less pain since working on my lifestyle.
Making sure to reduce stress, loving myself and take the right supplements helps me a lot.
Even though the past few weeks I have had a bit of a setback my quality of life is improving.
So heck yes I am rocking my jeans and loving it ππ»

Hopping on this trend real quick π
But seriously I am working on making my dreams come true even if it means having ups and downs.
As long as we keep on going....
As long as we do not lose hope....
We all have the potential to make our dreams come true!
Side note: it's perfectly fine to adjust your dreams once in a while. Sometimes you let go of what you thought was important to begin a new journey and work towards a new dream. You do you ππ»
Last year I had the biggest honer modelling for Robert Elsing.
Hair and makeup done by Wilma Scholte. It was my first time having my makeup done by a professional π
I had an amazing experience with those lovely people! And i will never forget that β€οΈ
We took so many beautiful pictures and sadly there was only 1 picture that would be used for my article in the magazine "Vriendin".
Luckily I got the rest of the pictures so I am happy to share them with you π₯° (and relive that day for myself)

Ik heb zojuist de 600 volgers bereikt! Bedankt voor jullie niet-aflatende steun. Zonder jullie was dit nooit gelukt. ππ€π
The new girls are training hard for the finale this year.
I still can't believe that my childhood dream came true last year!
Competing has been a great way for me to grow confidence and I really enjoyed it. I hope the new generation will feel just as excited and loved as I have. Good luck girls!

A throwback to 2021...
I just started modeling and doing bo***ir shoots.
I Found that doing those types of photoshoots helped me to love and accept my body. They made me feel pretty, feminine, sensual.... worthy.
Now a lot of people keep those pictures private and thats perfectly fine! But I decided to share mine.
To inspire other women.
To show them that it is ok to feel sensual en powerful even if your body doesn't look like the ones in a magazine.
Simply because looking at other plussize women doing this made me feel brave enough to take that first step.
Whether you are bigger or smaller in size, born a different way, it doesn't make you less of a women.
And it's OK to want to change your body, don't get me wrong.
But you should do it to feel better and happy yourself and not to accommodate the standards of society.
I truly believe that self-love comes first, and the change comes as a result of that love to take care of yourself.

Sometimes it is hard for me to make appointments with photographers due to my illnesses and family life.
So I take pictures myself every once in a while. I dont always use filters but in this case I just love the effect that the high contrast gave to te pictures β€οΈ
There is always a way to do what you love, even if you have te get creative and work with what you got π

Lately I have been busy with a lifestyle program. Somehow it seems like I am making way more progress than with all the other programs I have tried in the past.
I wasn't quite sure why....
I mean I feel a difference in my mental state, a motivation that wasn't quite there before but I didn't know why.
I follow this beautiful and kind mom on Instagram. This is the link to her page:
https://instagram.com/body.positive.mamma?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=
And her post gave me a certain clarity.
In past programs I was always focused on weight loss. On trying to be something acceptable to society's standards. They made me feel ugly and a failure.
It was crushing my self confidence and I started to hate my body even more every single time.
This time I am focused on me! Not on my weight or shape or size. But on my mental well-being, feeling fitter and stronger. My main goal is to improve my quality of life and enjoying what I do. It brings back the fun in exercising. It makes my self-love even stronger! Building me up in stead of tearing me down.
Taking baby steps and celebrate all of them in stead of trying to achieve an unachievable goal.
So now I am changing my lifestyle, changing as a person... not to be perfect but to be the best me πͺπ»β€οΈ and I absolutely love it!

To my surprise I found out that I am 28th on the list of top instagram influencers in the Netherlands at this moment!
It has been a rough year but creating an sharing content, inspiring you and spreading the love has made it all worth it!
I wouldn't be where I am today if it wasn't for all of you so thank you so much! β€οΈ

This year I was lucky enough to not only be a part of a pageant but also bring home the title of 2nd Runner up Mrs Curve Nederland 2022!
And even though it has been a few months since then I still think back to it as I the most beautiful dream I have ever had.
Marco Hofman Imaging was kind enough to take these beautiful pictures with my finale dress and crown.
And I still feel like a queen wearing them.
