Hi everyone!

Since CSI Eindhoven has been cancelled, the board has started looking for new events where we can support. These have now become several events at two very nice organisations. One of them is Outdoor Horst, where we help out during their eventing competitions in June and October. The first one will take place from June 2 to 4 at Peelbergen Equestrian Centre in Kronenberg. This is an eventing competition where riders have to ride dressage, jumping and a cross country (a kind of triathlon).

We are happy to announce our second internal competition on the *4th of June*: The battle against Sonniushof!

It is comparable with the normal internal competitions, but with an additional team score element.

A general ranking will be made, but also a Concorde ranking and club champion will be announced!

You can participate in dressage and jumping (or both).

We will need enough riders to win this battle, so ride your best test and jump your best course and we will win this battle 💪🏼

VOTING TIME! 🤩 Concorde has been growing significantly throughout the year, but we encounter more and more capacity problems. This is mainly because there should be enough space in both the lessons as well as in the transport to the stables. A higher budget would allow for a more flexible way of organising transport, in turn making it easier to, for example, start up a new lesson! As a proud association we would love to be able to grow more and share our passion with many more students! You can find the link to vote in our bio!

On Sunday the 12th of June we had the second internal competition of this academic year. The competition was at our own stables Sonniushof and it was possible to sign up for dressage, jumping or both. All horses behaved really well and the riders did their best. After a small talk, the winners were announced and we look back to a succesfull last internal competition of this year!

After all sister associations have done a cross clinic at Stable 't Reelaer, we couldn't stay behind! The horses were well behaved and the riders enjoyed it!

Yesterday the members of Concorde tried to be the next Robin Hood 🏹 .s.h.davinci gave us an archery clinic where we learned the basics of their sport. Thanks to Da Vinci for this fun and interesting evening!

The sports promnight 'Dancing with the stars' ✨ that Concorde is joining is organized by Blue, together with Zes, Tamar, Samourais, WETH, Tantalus, Ilyeo, Da Vinci & Impact! 🎉

The 24th of April, the yearly jumping clinic finally could take place again! The riders started with a theory lesson to learn the principles of showjumping. Then it was time to try the things we learned on the horse. During the lesson everyone improved a lot. It was a fun and successful jumping clinic 🐴

Concorde, de studenten paardrijvereniging van Eindhoven, draagt ieder jaar als vrijwilliger bij aan de organisatie van dit event🐴. En we kunnen jouw hulp daarbij goed gebruiken! It's time for another opportunity to try some different sports 🥳 This time we can get an Archery clinic from E.S.H. Da Vinci! 🏹 Not on a horse this time, but it will still be a lot of fun. So, are you ready to bring out your inner Robin Hood? 💪🏻 Join this clinic on Monday the 16th of May, from 18:00 to 20:00! Afterwards, we can have a drink with Da Vinci. 🍻

It’s almost time for CSI Eindhoven! 🥳
This is a big international show jumping competition!
During this event that takes place during the ascension weekend our association will volunteer!

As volunteers we will have some nice tasks such as building the course, bringing drinks to judges and guiding the passing of the competition horses. You will be at places where you would never be as a visitor, and you have the best seats of the terrain!

A few weeks ago, Elise, Friso, Susanne and Amy started a full weekend of fun and horse riding with a ride to Amsterdam, SO BLOK. 🐴Saturday the jumping competitions and the preliminaries of the dressage were. Friso jumped quite a good B round with Snow but took a wrong turn and ended up not continuing to the next round. Amy rode a very tired Jordan and didn’t have a perfect test, also did not continue to the next round. However Elise with Fine Manners in the La and Susanne with Paddy in the Bb did an amazing job and managed to beat the other two contestants to the next round!! In the semifinals Elise and Susanne, again, rode super well with giant The Mountain and Murphy which were both rewarded with a 3rd place in their category! 🥉🏆Congratulations!!

This month, we had a nice squash clinic! ESSRV Quatsh teached us the tips and tricks of their sport and at the end of the clinic, we had a small competition to see who improved the most 🏸💪🏼 Thanks to 😊

On Sunday 20th of February we could finally organize our (normally yearly) SO again for the first time since 2020! 🥳🐎 Even though it was only one day and we could thus only have half of the participants we normally have, there were a lot of supporters for each association as well! 🤗Most things actually went really smoothly this year and we also got a lot of positive responses from participants, supporters, volunteers and the stables. 🥰 Congratulations to everyone who won some of the amazing prizes from this year’s sponsors! 🏆🏅Happy people, happy horses, happy Coco! 🤩 It was an amazing day and we are looking forward to many more SOs this year! ✨

THIS SUNDAY IS SO CONCORDE, finally! 🎉🎉

The long awaited SO Concorde is finally here again. Admittedly in another form than we would’ve hoped but, holy horse, we are so ready. 😜 On this one-day, carnaval-themed event (normally a weekend), many horse-riding students from associations all across the country come to Eindhoven to show their skills in dressage tests of all levels! 🐴💪🏻

Keep an eye on the instagram stories because Concorde will be taking over their insta this weekend, so we can take you with us on the preparations beforehand and the day itself. Stay tuned! 🙌🏻 The KNHS-VNS is our umbrella association and now also has instagram, so go follow them as well: 😊

💫 Christmas Dinner🎄

Good news, we will have a Christmas dinner on the 23rd of December! 💃🏻

The idea is to have dinners in groups. 👨‍👩‍👦‍👦👨‍👩‍👧‍👧👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 This way we are able to have a fun night while taking the Corona rules into account. 🥂🍷🍸🍺 We will make the groups and groupchats in the weekend before the dinner 😊.

The food will be prepared together or partly together. How exactly will depend on the groups and be decided in the groupchats. We estamed the dinner to be around 15 euro including a couple of drinks. 💰💰
