What a weekend !! 🤦‍♂🙁
It wasn't a good one sadley,
On saterday I did the race for the National class. In the second training I had a crash in the first corner and I can't remember anything from this, I am missing a few hours I had a lot of pain in my head and neck and the doctors told me I wasn't aloud to start again for this day, ofcourse I always want to race but I think this was the right choise because u need to be fit on the bike !! So we went to bed early and the next day I felt much better only a bit pain in the musles in my neck but I felt good enough to race so I make myself ready for the first time in the international class in nl 🤩🏁

Imani also did this race and she need to go before me on the track. this was her first time in a race with mack struck after a few laps it went wrong !!! In the corner the back wheel went up and they made a big crash this was so scary !! But luckily they both were awake and they have no big injuries but after the check at the medical team they both needed to go to the hospital to see if there were broking bones or other injuries

Ofcoure I was worried so I decided to stop the race for the day and go Whit imani to the hospital

I did 2 trainings this day and I was happy with how it went

When we were in hospital imani and mack were both in allot of pain

Mack has pain in his hand shoulder and he feel sick

Imani has pain in her back

After allot of scans x-rays test and allot waiting the doctors told imani that nothing was broken but only brushed after a few more test she can go home now but she need to rest and then wil be all good

Mack his hand is broken in 2 places, his shoulder was oké and he needs a operation for the hand but for today he can go home with a cast

I'm happy that they have no big injuries and I hope they feel better soon

Training Roden 🏁🇳🇱

On friday we watched the race for the Roelof Thijs bokaal
It was a good race and the next day we went to Roden for training
We brought the solo bike and the sidecar for training with mack and imani but this gave me the chance to try a few laps on the sidecar aswel I liked it a lot and it felt really good

Also on the longtrack bike I felt confident and picked up some good speed

Imani learned a lot and is making big steps

On Sunday we went to icespeedway again to watch the world championship

We had an awesome weekend and we are ready for next weekend in vries

Race 3/3
Balkbrug j&n
(4,4) finale p4

After the race in neuenknick we drove to balkbrug were we had the race on Monday

The training was allright the track was a bit hard but the feeling was good

In the first heat my start was not bad and I take the second place to try to get the first place from the inside but I missed some speed when I came out the corner so finished the first heat as second

In the next heat I was in second place again and I know this was enough to go to the A finale so just take the points finish second again

In the final I have a really bad start I tried to overtake but can not find a way around another rider so finish p4 of the day

Now we make all things ready for the next race in vries !!

(Imani's race)
Neuenknick (3,2,1,0) place 2 🥈

At Sunday we were in neuenknick for Imani Hazekamp her first sidecar race together with ole muller

In the training the track was very wet and slick
They both looked good on the bike but we know the track will change a lot and will be more dry during the day

In the first heat they have a great start and come out the corner as first! They keep the lead and win the first heat the second heat they start at red and they do a good job finish second

Than in the last 2 heats they start from yellow and white the inside gates were a lot better so they only get 1 point out the last 2 heats this give them the points 3,2,1,0 so 6 in total and they have the same as a other combination so they need to do a runoff for second place the start was good and they were fast they win the run off and finish the day In second place 🥳🥳
I am so proud!!!

First race weekend is done
It was a buzzy but a good weekend

Race 1/3 Speedway Veenoord 🏁🇳🇱
(D,2,2,2) place 7

On saturday I had the first speedway race at Veenoord
With the training I found out the track was hard and it take a bit time and some changes at the bike before I feel good

In the first heat I didn’t have the best start and I was at p3 overtake was very hard so I wanted to take the 1 point and be a bit careful maybe this was the mistake because in the corner the bike got a lot of gripp and front wheel went up and I ended under the airfence 🫣stupid mistake from myself but lucky me and the bike were oké

In the next 3 heats I finished all as second and have 6 points out 4 heats
This mean I had 1 point to less for the final 🙁

Better luck next time after the race at night we drove to Germany, neuenknick for the sidecar race for imani🏁

We spent the weekend In mulmshorn for a speedway/longtrack training and to see if the new colours look good !! And it did ! Im very happy with the new suits and covers 😀

on Sunday there was a unexpected training for Imani Hazekamp in the sidecar!! It was the first time in the sidecar and she did a great job !!!🤠💯💪

Saterday I did all day longtrack training and Sunday I also did speedway training I started With longtrack and then I go out With the speedway bike I feel good on the bikes but after this training the rain started and training was cancelled
In the rain we made the last laps With my little big friend 😃😃

We enjoyed the weekend and look forward to the first speedway race of the seasons this Saterday at Speedway Veenoord

Sunday we went to Vledderveen for a little practice
This track is deep and rough but I like it .
My nephew Levi also made his laps on the track

After the training we went to a little private track and had some fun

First trainings of 2024 are done

Last week I was at neuenknick 🇩🇪 good to be back on the bike but was not my best race day it was the first training of the year so take a bit time for it

This weekend we go to Mettet 🇧🇪
I did the training at saterday the track was good and I enjoy it I have allot better feeding in the bike so I was happy Whit the good day practice 🏁🏁

At Sunday there was a try-out so Imani Hazekamp and Calvin Kits take the opportunity to try speedway for the first time!! They both did a good job and we make allot fun !!

Training mulmshorn 🏁🇩🇪

Today we try something new ! For the first time I drive sidecar 😀😀 after many years as passenger I wan to try to be on the handlebars now and this was realy nice 👌 Mack thanks for use you're sidecar
Angel Bronda thanks to be passenger you do a amazing job 🤗

I also make a few laps on the longtrack bike and I feel so mutch faster than last time when I was at this track so I'm happy about the training 😀

Haunstetten 🏁🇩🇪

This weekend we make the tripp to Haunstetten
In the training the bike feel good

The first heat I start from outside it was not the best start but I stay on the outside line and make it to the 3th place

The second heat I start from inside and make a better one I was in p2 and feel good on the bike till the last corner I get gripp and than I lost the gripp no control of the bike and crash in the airfance 😢
Lucky I was oké and can start on second bike in the last heat

The last heat I had the outside again and again the start was bad 👎 in the first corner I see noting and I need to close the gas 😞

Al by al not the best day driving was realy good but sad that I make the crash 😢
I lurn from this and wil come back stronger 💪

Kuinre 🏁🇳🇱

At saterday I did the last race at Kuinre for the Dutch championships
Before the race I was more than 25 points in front so the championship was already in the pocked !!🏆 this give the chance for my macanic Nick Smeding to jump at the reserve bike en join the race !

The track start glad bud when the grass come off there was a bit more grip it was a bit rough bumpy and deep but I like it 👌

In the first heat me and nick were togheter in the track I not make the best start but come as second out the first corner and after the first lap I take the first place and win the first heat. Nick start as last but after a nice race he make it to the second place !! So 1 and 2 was good result for the first heat

In my second heat I start as 3the me and Niek Meijerink make a good race for second place and I finish as second behind Bob Dolmen this give me enough points for the A final

Nick his second heat was a hard one after some Close racing and a litle touch Whit the fence he finish in 5th place and give him 5 points total the last one who go straight to the final was on 5 points but nick need to do the B final

In the B final nick start as second and not give it away so we were both in the A finale !👌

In the A final my start was not to bad after a little battle Whit niek I take over the second place in the second corner and stay there so i finish the race in 2th place🥈👍 nick finish the race in 5th place wat is realy good for the first time !

Now all the races for the Dutch championships are done and I become National Champion from Holland 2023 🏆 🇳🇱 🥳

It's been a while sinds tha last Post 🙈 sorry for that but it been some buzzy weeks 😅

Last week we spent some time in Denmark 🇩🇰
Thursday we begin Whit training in herning I feel realy compfy and I love the track !
I had a new engine in the bike it feel quick but give allot vibration and end up Whit some issues at the ignition 😑 I try allot but can't fix this anymore

At Friday we go to Vivian Knudtzen and ole were we can use the workshop 🙏 we alsow spent the night there and I even can use one of Ole his engines !!! Big thanks for all 🙏🙏

So because this great help we were prepared and fit at the start at saterday in slangerup
The track was a bit difficult and I change the bike a litle bit I score 1,0,1,1 + 1 it wasn't the best race for me but I had a great time and we have a good day

Than Sunday we go to skovby for a grastrack meeting
I yoin the solo class Whit some realy good riders and also jump in the sidecar Whit Ole muller 🏁🏁
The track was hard but I like it !! At the solo I shut have 5 heats but because some riders were not there I was alone in my second heat so it give me 3 free points 😆 in the other heats I finish all 4 heats in 3th place so give me 1,3,1,1,1 and got 7 points in total 😊 I lurn allot and I'm happy Whit the result

Whit the sidecar we make some good fun we win 1 heat and finish 3times as second and it give us the second place of the day 🥈🏆

Today we were in UK at

Cheshire Grasstrack Club 🏁🇬🇧

In the training the sand was realy soft and for me it was the first time in the sand
I try some different thinks as change the forks make more bands on it other setup ... but the bike still not did how I wan it

Than I say i just drive the race out and see wat happind in the last heat I take a second place ! And this give me enough to go to the final. In the final I did the same ... no risk just make 4 Laps and bring it home
It was good enough for the 4th place overal wat was not to bad !

Race zweibrucken 🏁🇩🇪

After a 4 days speedway training camp we visit the the race at werlte and than we go on to MSC Zweibrücken for the race on Sunday

In the first training I wasn't happy Whit the setup and I make a few changes wat makes it a bit better

The starttraining was good I make a good start and take the first place and was ready for the first heat

In the first heat I take the best start again and was in first place when the red flag came out because a othere rider crashed (we wish him all the best and speedy recovery 🙏) in the restart the start gate was to deep so u start from the top and there was no gripp so start was bad when I come closer I see noting and make a little mistake so I can not get more than a 3th place

Second heat start was a bit better and after a good first corner I take the second place and keep this wat was good

Alsow in this heat I can feel that I drive allot and sleep not so mutch this week
It was hard to keep the bike were I wan it but we have only 1 heat to go and Whit the point we were us second place

In this last heat I had a realy good start and was is first place but in the second lap the second rider past me and I don't have the power anymore to get the first place back in the last lap I cone in the corner than I don't know what happened but sadly I make a crash 👎👎 most important me and the bike are oké but because I had no points in this last lap I finish the race at the 4th place

It was not a bad day only a bit bad luck in the last lap
This week I lurn so mutch what feel realy good

Up to the next one and take the podium again !!!

Next event wil be at Cheshire Grasstrack Club !! I looking forward to see all the English friends

Was a realy good day !!
I lurn allot and feel quick and comfy at the bike !! Did some training Whit norik and a super leage rider I enjoy it allot and I am happy about the speedwaycamp
