From today magnesium is back at Gropo! Back in 2020 we switched to liquid chalk while we were looking to improve the air quality and bouldering experience. Now with our new air filters and carpet from we are ready!
🙏🏻 Please use chalk moderately and don’t create dust clouds ☁️

We are working to improve your climbing experience at Gropo, today we started installing the carpet on the mat in the first half of the gym.
🔴The red area will be available again April 2nd at 13:00.
🔵The blue area is not available from April 2nd 13:00 until April 4th 18:00.
We know that this is a big operation, sorry for the inconvenience. We did set new boulders in The Lab (upstairs) for you.

This saturday from 09:30 the Youth Series North-East 2022 starts. You can register with your trainers or in Gropo before the start of the competition.
There are four categories: two for primary school and two for secondary school. For more information visit the website of the NKBV. We are looking forward to see you there 🙌🏻

On Saturday March 26th we are organizing a “regional youth series”, as a result the back of the gym will only be available for the youth competitors, from 10:00 till 15:00. On March 24th and 25th we will be routesetting in the sectors; Logo wall, Pumpcave and Slabtastic.

Also Gropo will be getting a new carpet cover for the mat! This will improve the quality of the climbing. The installation of the carpet is an enormous operation that will be caried out in two phases. Please be aware that this will result in some interruptions between march 28 and the 5th of April. The outside and upstairs areas will not be affected.

From Tuesday 21 December our outside walls are open! From 07:00 to 17:00. Reservations via TopLogger will be available from 12:00 tomorrow.
No new registrations can be made.

To give everybody the chance to boulder, from tomorrow, November 30th, reservation via TopLogger is necessary.
We open extra early for you, see you at 7:00! 💪🏻💛

The 1,5m is back. To help you keep distance we’ve limited the maximum numbers of visitors to 85 at the time.
We keep en eye on things and If it’s necessary we will return to the reservation system during the next week.

Mon-Fri: 7:00-17:00
Sat-Sun: 8:00-17:00

From tomorrow November 6th it is mandatory for persons of 18 years and older to present a valid Corona access proof (QR-code) to access sports facilities in the Netherlands.

To use the facilities of Gropo you will also need to show a valid Corona access proof.
Please keep your QR-code and ID on hand when you sign in at the desk.

🚦We have a new competition!

The route setters have lost their minds and forgot how to grade boulders. Now the colours of the routes don't correspond to the grade as they do in the rest of the gym, and have not been given a difficulty grade either.

Over the next 21 days the competition will be running in the Tunnel Area.
