Spending a Sunday pottering about in my studio.

It is just ridiculous how happy having this space has made me, it makes the whole adventure seem more like real life.

Uprooting four lives was not an easy decision and nor is it an easy path to stay on, but in moments like this I feel at home again.

Feels strange to see my new label in clothing that I made...good strange, but still strange.

Oh hello there Autumn...loving the layers

Fabulous end to a day filled with lots of emotion.

Missing my far off loved ones, but also slowly becoming part of a new community, finding a rhythm that is not the heart beat of Africa but still somehow resonates with something inside me. There is magic here too. It is a different variety, more sculpted by humans, yet still running deep in the veins of the autumnal forests and glittering in the festive lights.

Thank you for all the love today. Hopefully the next year is more chilled but filled with the same amount of wonder

Popping over to Africa for a week and had a day flight with no kids...wow! It felt so luxurious (I'm stealing that )

Today I made a coat for my mom. My sewing is not nearly as neat as what I have come to take for granted from Lackson, and it has taught me to re-appreciate the hands that made my clothes.
