Wrapping up an intensive 2-day online training, followed by a week of hands-on training with participants from PT. Bio Farma Indonesia, Biotis Pharmaceuticals Indonesia, PT. PT Etana Biotechnologies Indonesia, Indonesian FDA, and Ministry of Health Republic of Indonesia at Biotech Training Facility!
Throughout the week, participants dived deep into foundational aspects and hands-on applications in biopharmaceutical production, covering upstream & downstream processing, and an exciting CleanEscapeRoom challenge.

Honoured and inspired by the visit of Ernst Kuipers, the Dutch Minister of Health, to our Biotech Training Facility booth during the recent World Local Production Forum in The Hague. The event, organized by the Dutch Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport on behalf of the World Health Organization (WHO), is focused on advancing sustainable access to medicines through the establishment of local production technology.
Our managing director, Ronald Kompier, highlighted our substantial contribution in supporting successful tech transfer and the establishment of production capacity through our hands-on training.

Vibalogics, now a part of Recipharm, is a full-service Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) that offers process technical transfer, development, GMP manufacturing, testing, and fill-finish services to innovators working on virotherapies. Recently, Biotech Training Facility provided a customized training program for their experts in drug substance and drug product manufacturing. The goal was to enhance employees' skill sets and provide a means to continually improve their procedures in drug substance and drug product manufacturing.

Today, we have had the honour of welcoming a distinguished group from the Ministerie van Volksgezondheid, Welzijn en Sport (Dutch Ministry of Health), representing the Netherlands on the international stage. With members stationed, among others, in China, Switzerland, India, and Indonesia, they play a crucial role in promoting the Dutch contribution to the global health agenda.
During the facility tour, a special moment arose when they had the pleasure of meeting our international training participants from the Food and Drugs Authority Ghana (FDA). It was a joyful occasion which offered a perfect opportunity to capture a memorable photograph that symbolizes the spirit of global collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Just a fun (and slightly magical) reminder of the importance of proper hand hygiene in keeping our workspaces safe and contamination-free. We used a hand wash training lotion that glows under UV light. After applying it, we snapped a 'before' pic with our glowing hands, then washed up and took an 'after' pic to reveal our clean hands. See the difference?

Exciting news to share! The first pilot collaboration between MboRijnland, Biotech Training Facility, and Janssen Biologics BV, as part of CIV Bio Sciences, has been a great success! Second-year mbo students of Biomedical Laboratory Techniques in Leiden, Netherlands were introduced to the world of GMP, gaining valuable insights not yet covered in their curriculum.
Janssen Biologics kicked off with an interactive session on the what, why and how of the GMP regulations, followed by engaging activities like the Pharma Mystery Game and the cleanESCAPEroom by Biotech Training Facility. The students had a hands-on experience with cleanroom gowning and vital industry knowledge. The positive outcomes have motivated all parties involved to explore further collaborations, bridging the gap between education and the biotech industry.

Biotech Training Facility had a fantastic time at the recent science and technology event: Leids Goeds Festival. It was a wondrous world of innovation, where we had the opportunity to showcase our interactive workshops and educational games that made learning about GMP and biopharmaceutical manufacturing training fun and engaging. Our booth was a hub of activity as attendees stopped by to try out our unique approach to learning.
We are proud to be part of the science and technology community in Leiden and grateful for the opportunity to showcase our unique approach to learning at the event. Thank you BioPartner Leiden and everyone who visited our booth and joined us in making learning fun and interactive.
We are proud to have provided our client Sodexo with the tools and knowledge needed for deviations and CAPAs. After a brief introduction to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and root cause analysis theory, our trainees from Sodexo were divided into groups and challenged with case studies they might encounter in real life. Using the techniques they learned during the training and collecting "real evidence" from the production floor, the groups were able to apply the theory into practice immediately.
Through this exercise, our trainees gained valuable hands-on experience in root cause analysis and learned how to apply it to real-world situations. This hands-on training approach not only improved their problem-solving skills but also enhanced their overall understanding of GMP principles, which will enable them to maintain a high level of quality and compliance in their work.
