𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗮𝘁 𝗔𝗿𝗴𝘂𝘀
VTTI and Connex are teaming up to create Greenstock Pretreatment Facility (GPF). The new standard in pretreatment of renewable feedstocks like UCO and animal fats, into ready-to-use feedstocks for HVO/HEVA and SAF. The Greenstock Pretreatment Facility is set to process over 400,000 tons of renewable feedstocks annually at VTTI’s Amsterdam terminal (ETA) offering customers expanded options for pretreatment services in Northern Europe. Our team representing GPF will be at the Argus Biofuels Europe Conference in London from October 15-17.

We had an entire weekend filled with energizing and impactful activities that put our emission-reducing words into action—literally! 🚀💚

On Sunday, our sports enthusiasts took on the epic challenge of the Harbour Run, an adrenaline-pumping obstacle race through the heart of the iconic Rotterdam Harbour. 💪

This past weekend, our Connex team took to the waters of De Rotte alongside some of our wonderful colleagues for the Plastic Whale Initiative! Instead of fishing for fish, we fished for plastic to help keep our waterways clean! 🌊🛶

It was an inspiring day of teamwork and purpose, as we joined forces to fight plastic pollution and protect the beauty of our environment. Every bit of plastic removed makes a difference, and we're proud to have contributed to this cause. 🙌

Today, September 20th, we recognize World Cleanup Day, an important UN initiative dedicated to combating the global waste crisis. This day serves as a reminder of the urgent need for collective action to reduce waste and protect our planet.

At Connex, we are proud to be part of this movement by becoming an official sponsor. In partnership with Plastic Whale, we’ll be taking action with our first-ever cleanup event in October, where our team will head out on boats to clean up trash from the river De Rotte in Rotterdam.

While our efforts may be a small step on a global scale, it feels great to contribute beyond our daily work with renewable waste and residues. We hope next year, you’ll join us for a Cleanup Day event!
