Zoals jullie misschien wel weten heb ik met kerst een skiongeluk gehad en heb ik een lange tijd niet kunnen werken 🎿. Maar goed nieuws, want het kan weer! Op 4 maart ga ik weer aan de slag! Het revalidatieproces loopt nog, dus ik moet rustig aan mijn werkzaamheden weer oppakken 🪜. Daarom kun je de komende tijd alleen een afspraak inboeken voor knippen en herstelbehandelingen.

Voor degene die mij nog niet kennen, even voorstellen: ik ben Zeynep en ik werk nu voor bijna drie jaar voor mijzelf als zelfstandig haarstyliste in hartje Rotterdam!

Mijn oorspronkelijke vak is eigenlijk iets heeel anders, namelijk Communicatie! Maar omdat ik het kappersvak altijd al zó leuk vond heb ik mijn droom nagejaagd en ben ik haarstyliste geworden! Natuurlijk heb ik het communicatievak niet losgelaten. Momenteel rond ik mijn master Media & Creative Industries af aan de Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam en daarom werk ik part time. Het allerliefst creëer ik natuurlijk elke dag de aller mooiste kapsels met heel veel liefde!

As you may know I had a skiing accident at Christmas and haven't been able to work for a long time 🎿. But good news, because I will start on the 4th of March again! The rehabilitation process is still ongoing, so I have to calmly pick up my work again 🪜. That's why for now, you can only book an appointment for haircuts and recovery treatments.

Can you keep a secret? 🙊 What do you do when your hair is greasy but you don’t have time to wash it? I often make a nonchalant ponytail!

How I created this look:

Step 1: brush your hair through.
Step 2: grab all your hair nonchalantly together and leave the front pieces out.
Step 3: secure your hair with a strong elastic.
Step 4: pull the ponytail for more volume.
Step 5: add some volume powder on top of your front pieces and massage it gently.

Voila! Here you go, a quick and fashionably hairstyle for when you have to hide your wash day 🤭

What a difficult time...

There were rumors about a possible lockdown on Sunday, but I remained positive. Monday the nasty news came, everything closed; including hairdressers.. That was a hard blow for me, especially as a starting entrepreneur in the hairdressing industry. I just started; a new location, start-up costs, building customers and everything went so well. I have been able to make so many people happy lately and now.. Now I am closed, until at least January 19th.

I didn't know what to do, I was upset and distraught. I went straight to the salon and I was fully booked until midnight, which I am super grateful for.

I will use this time nicely to catch up and optimize all processes within my company. At the moment I am also brainstorming about ways to limit the financial damage somewhat. Do you have any ideas, let me know.

Let's help each other. Can I mean something to you and other entrepreneurs? Let me know, because together we are strong. Let's not destroy each other and make it through this time together stronger.

I think of everyone, everyone who has been affected by this dire situation again; mentally, physically, financially and in any way.

Face mask required 😷

Dear clients, by the first of December wearing a face mask is mandatory in public spaces by the Dutch government. Unfortunately we are also required to wear one during your visit in the salon.

I absolutely would prefer to see your faces to read your emotions, to engage, to make human interaction, see you smiling and make the best hair for your face, including your jaw line, cheeks, lips, nose en chin.

But, we have to respect this rule to prevent fines; for you and me. So please bring a face mask with you. Thank you for your understanding.

Ik kan het jullie eindelijk vertellen! De afgelopen weken (en maanden eigenlijk) ben ik druk bezig geweest achter de schermen met iets super leuks...
.. Ik heb een eigen plekje in Rotterdam! 🤩 Eindelijk kan ik het jullie vertellen. Dit is iets waar ik lang naartoe heb moeten werken, een proces met veel wikken en wegen maar uiteindelijk heb ik toch de knoop doorgehakt! Het was voor mij namelijk te moeilijk om mijn opleidingen, werk, vrijwilligerswerk en sociale leven te combineren met mobiele kapster zijn. Daarom heb ik nu dus een eigen plekje in Rotterdam om jullie te helpen binnen mijn (jawel) ruime openingstijden, ik ben geopend van maandag t/m zondag van 09:30-22:00 uur!

Vanaf zaterdag; 21 november sta ik open voor boekingen. Binnenkort zal ik een samenwerking aangaan met Treatwell zodat je met één druk op de knop de juiste behandeling kunt boeken.
