For the final presentation of The Paradise we are doing a very special performance at Hekate - Ferrous Boombox at ADM on the 14th of June. 💥 We are doing a customized performance, bringing and .roza.

The team behind Hekate has been organizing parties since the 90s, and we’ve loved and attended many of these events. 💫 As a perfect playground and starting point for artists to experiment, they were always a huge inspiration to us. It’s rare for a Hekate event to land in The Netherlands, so we’re very excited to be part of this!

FUNERAL ECSTASY - The Paradise - is created in collaboration with the audience. During several research presentations we presented parts of the work. ⚫️ Afterwards we asked participants to write their state of mind on these black pieces of paper. We can finally announce The Paradise!
The performative installation marks the beginning of
FUNERAL ECSTASY, a series questioning the
conventional notions of endings. Is it a celebration, a
guided meditation, or a rave for the end?

In the installation the audience is led through an ebb
and flow, oscillating between darkness and light,
intensity and tranquility; a collective experience,
perceived individually.

We have started working on FUNERAL ECSTASY —a new series that challenges conventional perspectives on ending. The first installment, The Paradise, delves into the theme of impermanence, inviting us to reflect on the temporary nature of life.

This Saturday after DIGITAL DUCTTAPE we are going back to our nightlife roots. Expect the unexpected, a sensory overload experience featuring four distinct DJ's who all have their own relationship to our practice.

21:30 Li-z (PRSPCT / Hit 'n Run / Heimwee)
A key figure in the Dutch underground scene and avid collector of a vast range of music, Li-Z’s sets combine old and new sounds, raw techno and fierce beats, breakbeats and oldskool rave mayhem. A founding member of the renowned Hit ‘n Run Soundsystem, Li-Z has hosted stages at Q-base, Pip/Heimwee as well as multiple events throughout the Netherlands.

22:30 Kahorsa (ILLEGALE PAARDENRAVE)
One half of our own DIGITAL DUCTTAPE terror-twins, Kahorsa aka Lodewijk van Dijk is our second DJ of the night. After years doing everything from organizing to doorbitching in Rotterdam nightlife, his love for horses moved him to start the notorious ILLEGALE PAARDENRAVE. Expect trance and techno with the incidental neighh mixed in.

23:30 Anni Nöps
Anni Nöps is an audiovisual artist and DJ with a soft spot for organic textures, visceral lows,
crunchy synths and hard kicks. Primarily operating in the fringes of electronic listening music, she interlaces explorative, nuanced sounds to her club sets. Her sonic palette is visceral, interlacing ghostly drone, floating melodies, hard hitting percussions and tactile noise.

00:30 Stefan ZMK (HipSick / Cult Collectief / PRSPCT)
HipSick’s in-house composer and technical wizard Stefan ZMK will finish off the night. Expect his own blend of IDM, rave, techno and breaks mixed with references to HipSick works. Exploiting all electronic boundaries, Stefan ZMK travels the world to find beauty in darkness. He is a true guru in sound and a man of 100% dedication to alternative electronic music.
