HAIRDRESSER OF THE YEAR 2024!! ⚡

Wij zijn super trots dat onze Rozan Zonneveld van Sjenkels Leiden dé prijs van de Coiffure Award heeft binnengesleept: Hairdresser of the Year 2024. Daarnaast heeft ze ook nog eens de eerste prijs in de categorie ‘Dames Regio Utrecht, Zuid-Holland, Gelderland. Ze vertelt: “Ik ben onwijs blij dat ik een prijs heb gekregen voor iets wat ik heb gemaakt en wat zo dicht bij mij staat en bij mij past. Dat dit dan zo gewaardeerd wordt door een jury is echt fantastisch. Ik had gehoopt op een prijs in categorie dames maar dit had ik niet durven dromen!”

Haar collectie ‘Pure Solid’ is geïnspireerd op Scandinavisch design. “Hier draait het om strakke vormen en het is minimalistisch en tijdloos. Met iets ‘simpels’ toch een statement maken, dat is wat ik wilde. Vervolgens ben ik een moodboard gaan maken, de looks gaan testen in de salon met collega’s en heb ik mijn team samengesteld voor de shoot. Ik had al precies het beeld in mijn hoofd hoe het eruit moest gaan zien qua haar, kleuren, styling én body positions die het haar versterken. Pure Solid is voor mij what you see is what you get, er zitten geen laagjes meer achter.”

Rose Kelder, eigenaar van Sjenkels Leiden, is emotioneel van trots. “Rozan heeft een bescheiden persoonlijkheid maar ze weet heel goed wat ze wilt. Deze serie is echt haar idee en dat ze dan deze beloning ervoor krijgt is echt geweldig. Ik vind het belangrijk om mijn team te helpen om te bereiken wat ze graag willen. Ook Rozan heb ik altijd gesteund en haar alle mogelijkheden en ruimte gegeven. Het is alsof mijn kind deze prijs gewonnen heeft, ik ben super, super trots op haar.”
