"55 Bombay Street” is founded by Rani and Kamal.
Rani, born in India, emigrated to the Netherlands at a young age. She has retained her passion for Indian food and is specialized in preparing the popular Indian pastry: the vegetarian samosa. This authentic samosa will be served at 55 Bombay Street. Kamal born and raised in Rotterdam, brought up within a Indian festive food culture. Indian home cooked-food is a big part of her heritage.
For us serving delicious Indian streetfood is more than a business. It’s about our Indian heritage, a special bonding with our guests. We want to serve only the best food made from fresh and natural ingredients, herbs and ayurvedic spices, prepared in the traditional way. We believe that Indian food helps maintain physical, mental, social and spiritual harmony and is key to a good health.
