For the past 14 years, I’ve learned, developed, experimented, and taught
Without this place in The Hague, making work will be quit a problem. For me, it’s essential to have a workshop in The Hague, not only for printing there, but every sample I make begins there by preparing my screens. Equipment I can’t have in my own studio.
For me personally, this will effect my work as a textile designer/ artist .
Next to being the coordinator of the workshop at the moment and caring about all artists, designers, beginning printmakers, schools and amateur printers growing, experimenting and developing skills.

Growing up close to nature in Sweden has made Annika appreciate its peace and beauty, in addition to the hustle and bustle of the city.
She misses the magical feeling of nature’s silence and strives to create a 3D forest experience.
Annika wants to capture the essence of a forest in a tactile space, drawing inspiration from the forests and light and shadow play of the trees.
Her goal is to provide a graphic representation of the soothing experience of being in nature, inspired by the graphic forest environments of video games.
It can be seen as a dystopian future image where nature can only be experienced in museums, and ai generates the image. Forest sketch 1

Coming soon to in Sydney.
A show by called ‘and the little things’. Honoured to have been invited to participate with a small work.
Belinda lived and worked in Den Haag for several years and both Annika and Eugène got to know her through
We won’t make it to the show, but do check it out online, or visit when you happen to be in Sydney!
We won’t give up yet!
We’ve received disappointing news about the structural funding (2025-2028) from the municipality of The Hague.
We firmly believe that our presence is vital in The Hague’s cultural landscape.
Losing our workshop after 50 years would be a significant blow, and it won’t be easy to rebuild.
Our aspirations for the next 4 years are ambitious, and we are determined to make them known to everyone!

Long-haired flock print on fluorescent tulle, creating a changeant colour effect and an interesting contrast in materials. #
First trial for a flock printed card we’ll be sending out in the weeks to come to a selection of people. Two lengths of flock fibres combined. Will look much better by the time we are finished, but we like the atmosphere!
Colour mixing for new ideas…
One of our latest trials. A furry and a bit irregular flock Especially nice in combination with the regularity of the checks! Which one do you prefer? With or without dots?
A more dramatic version of the fabric on our previous post. Typically I am the one that says ‘less is more’ whereas Annika will every now and then add a layer. So this is something Annika made. Great to work together.
Since last year and me have been developing new techniques using flock as our main medium. Working mainly with haute couture or capsule collections I mind.
