Ever since 1976 Brussels’ icon shakes up the European music stage with their top-notch technique and rich musical experiences. From The Clash and Coldplay to Nick Cave and Amy Winehouse, all the big musicians have performed at least once on the Ancienne Belgique stage.

New project! Following the new digital strategy of KRO-NCRV, Pointer is the first title within the KRO-NCRV digital universe.
Pointer is pioneering in the field of online storytelling and data journalism. Known for its visualizations and infographics, the online platform focuses on paving a path in our complex society.
De Pointer is driven by crowdsourced input from people that got stuck in a bureaucratic system or social abuse. Powered with a fresh set of UX guidelines and identity within the KRO-NCRV brand, Pointer now has the tools to expand their groundbreaking impact in unlimited ways.

We consulted Netwerk Filmeducatie on brand positioning and brand architecture, created an overarching brand storytelling system (including content strategy), identity, design system and website.

New project! We are developing the brand strategy for Squla - leuk leren, the interactive learning platform that gives kids confidence by making learning fun.
Squla is the market leader in personalized learning, with more than 260.000 members in the Netherlands alone. We are working on an adaptable design system that speaks to kids (starting from the age of 2), parents and teachers and is ready to grow with the brand and its international ambitions. You are never too young to learn!
New work! After a previous successful collaboration, creating their new community platform GLOBUS, and leading up to their 40th birthday Stichting Nederlands Onderwijs in het Buitenland (NOB) decided it was time to refresh their identity.
NOB is the ambassador for the (young) Dutch-speaking global citizen. They have a pivotal role between more than 200 schools, spread over 120+ countries, that provide Dutch education to children living abroad. Their main goal: connect teachers, knowledge and experiences, and maintain the quality and availability of Dutch education worldwide.
We developed a visual identity and design system that better reflects NOB and its global community, making sure the foundation can maintain its leadership in the upcoming years.

New work! We developed a website, UX-strategy and design system for KRO-NCRV. We shifted the focus away from the programming towards the 3 main pillars of KRO-NCRV: inclusivity, sustainability and personal development. These core values form the framework for the website and its contents. The improved kro.ncrv.nl better reflects the network; it shows who they are, what they stand for and provides connection with their audience.

Today, we're moving Dutch Design Week 2020 online. Within no-time and in close collaboration with Dutch Design Foundation we created a digital festival experience. Virtual, yet personal.
Within 6 months we developed an end-to-end platform and a custom build interface with presets to make sure designers can personalize their 3D rooms with ease. The outcome: over 500 digital exhibitions that bring online connection and discovery to a new level.
The 3D-rooms build upon 3D gaming technologies, the influence of light and colors in the works of James Turrell, Yayoi Kusama, Olafur Eliasson and Drake's Hotline Bling, and other creative solutions like Playbour City Engines by Tetem, The VanMoof Launch by Resn, Nite Hotel by Halie, Borrel.app by Q42 and Mozilla's Mixed Reality platform, that are redefining digital experiences without losing intimacy and connection.

All good ideas start with a spark. That’s why this star-like symbol forms the starting point for the new identity of startup studio Builders. Just like the spark it’s the place where new beginnings are created and bold ideas come together. Reflecting the creative powers of nature the animations show how loose particles come together and create powerful new patterns. The symbol is endlessly scalable and helps illustrate, inform and share Builders brand stories, now and in the future. Let's go from spark to champagne!

Yes! First a European Design Awards and now a Red Dot Design Award for the colorful identity of Theater De Vest & Grote Sint LaurensKerk Alkmaar! Following the motto 'In search of good design and creativity', 24 experts in the field of branding and communication design annually select the best-designed brands and communication projects. We’re honoured to be assigned a Red Dot Award out of the 6922 international entries.
The challenge of this project was to visibly align the, for outsiders, two different organizations. Our solution: a dynamic brand system where the characteristic, yet contrasting elements of the two buildings form the base of a recognizable and distinct identity. Dutch designer Bertjan Pot invites visitors to design a sock or scarf following his design guidelines. Be inspired, shape your design and produce your own designer knitwear on a state-of-the art knitting machine. We developed the complete end-to-end user journey, from identity to digital interface. Including a sock selfie proof carpet and a striking campaign with photography from Marie Wanders.
