It's that time of the year again, the library is closing for the summer break (oh no!) but don't you worry. There are many more places where you can study during the summer if you need to. 🥳 The library has created a map for you with a lot of alternative study places which you can visit.

We have found libraries, cafes, and coffee bars where you can study.
The map provides information* about opening hours, the number of workplaces available, and whether there are entry requirements (in cafes, you may need to order drinks, for example).

Espacenet is the European Patent Office’s public search tool for patent information. The database is not limited to patents from European nations; it includes patents from countries around the world. Espacenet offers free access to information about inventions and technical developments from the 19th century right up to today so you can find out if your invention is unique of that someone else has already filed a patent.

The school year is almost finished, time to put your studybooks away and enjoy summer! ☀️
If you still have books from the library at home and you no longer need them, please return them on time! We will be closed from Friday 12 July at 5 p.m.

But for everyone who still has to continue studying during the summer, you can extend the loan period for your books until 5 September 📖. You can extend your books through the catalogue, or in the library!

Brightmine, formerly known as XpertHR is a Dutch database with tips, casestudies, checklists and example documents for HR. It contains for example HR legislation, labour market and collective agreement data, analytics and human expertise.

- Minder besteding van collectiebudgetten want de prijs van boeken gaat ook voor ons als bibliotheek omhoog.
- Óók voor digitale publicaties dus dat betekent ook minder e-books in onze collectie.
- Verplichte literatuur voor je studie wordt ook duurder dus je bent meer geld kwijt als je boeken moet aanschaffen voor het nieuwe schooljaar.

- Less spending on collection budgets because the price of books will also increase for the library.
-This also applies for digital publications, which means that there will be a reduction of e-books in our collection.
- Compulsory literature for your studies will also become more expensive so you will spend more money if you have to buy books for the new academic year.
