About CaptainVR

CaptainVR's mission is helping people to become the Captain of their own lives and Virtual Reality is the most powerful tool to help with our mission. That's why the name is CaptainVR!

Our goal is to make a difference in the lives of people using VR Coaching, training, therapy and meditation. Allowing them to be the best, healthy, happy and most passionate version of themselves.

Scientific research has shown that Virtual Reality Exposure Therapy (VRET) is very effective for reducing stress, anxiety, fears, and negative behavior patterns. People who had to deal with certain (negative) experiences are triggered by situations that (strongly) resemble that experience they had in the past. This can cause them to respond in a fight, flight or freezing behavior. Virtual Reality provides a safe environment to expose people to their fears, challenges, and goals. VR coaching and therapy allows people to achieve direct, effective results within minutes, that result in long-term behavior change.

Virtual Reality Coaching works in two ways:

VR as an exposure tool: In Virtual Reality, we can confront people with these triggers in a safe setting and by practicing repeatedly, people get an increasing feeling of control over this situation.

VR as a test method: as a VR Coach, you can immediately test the effect of the coaching method on this person. By then confronting them in a Virtual environment with their fears, challenges or goals in life.

CaptainVR offers education and training to coaches, trainers, therapists, and psychologists to work with the Virtual Reality method.

CaptainVR wants to bring education, coaching, training & therapy to a whole new level. By introducing very effective VR tools. To help people to overcome fears and Trauma's to help people to reach their goals and dreams.
