Youhorse.auction had a remarkable edition on the evening of Tuesday, September 3, with immense interest in the strong collection of showjumping horses. The highlight was the four-year-old (📸) Pablo Escobar KJV (Carrera VDL). A fierce bidding duel developed between Portugal and Germany, and with the final bid of €90,000, the horse was sold to a showjumper competing for Germany 💥

Teus van den Brink, who has previously had success as a buyer at Youhorse.auction, was this time on the other side as the seller of Pablo Escobar.

Van den Brink could hardly believe his eyes: “As we speak I’m at the party of Maikel van der Vleuten, celebrating his bronze medal from Paris, and I kept putting my glasses on to follow the bidding. It was very special and very exciting. I've had this horse since it was a foal. For years, I bought about 20 to 25 foals per year, but this year I decided to take it easy. However, I’m starting to feel that itch again,” laughed the horse trainer from Nijkerkerveen 😄

In addition to auction topper Pablo Escobar (Carrera VDL), Germany gained seven more showjumping horses. This group included the six-year-old Classido (Cascadello I x Dollar de Pierre), which sold for €60,000 and the four-year-old Pentiom VW (Tangelo v/d Zuuthoeve), which fetched €30,000 🇩🇪

The two-day Youhorse.auction culminated in an electrifying finale on Tuesday 6 August 💥 After Monday's breeding collection saw strong demand, the excitement was amplified during the sport horse auction on the second day. The nine-year-old Primero H.H. van de Ruiter lived up to his name by topping the list with a sale price of €38,000 ✅

Poland emerged as the leader on the second auction night, securing six investments. One buyer demonstrated a keen eye for quality, acquiring several top horses.

Organizer Mario Everse commented, "We’ve had two wonderful auctions. The breeding auction on Monday was a success and the sport horse auction was also a great one. We are pleased and proud that the response from both horse owners and buyers has been so positive. On to the next one!" 🙏 🔜

The two-day Youhorse.auction has kicked off strongly with the breeding auction. The pregnant broodmare Naya out of the line of Plot Blue was the highlight of the auction. Today, the second part of the auction is all about sporthorses, youngsters and two ponies. Organizer Mario Everse advises: "Get ready to bid, because there are future stars among these horses!" 🌟

American buyers paid €15,000 for the six-year-old mare Naya (Stakkato Gold x Bamako de Muze), who is expecting a foal by Jaguar van de Berghoeve next year. The five-year-old mare El Bonita (El Barone III x Untouchable), in foal to Dominator 2000 Z, was sold for €11,000 to a buyer in Norway.
